What a fun video this was. Really enjoyed Dale singing. It's so nice that I can go on to KZbin and look up some of Dale's earlier performances back in the day. I also own a tupperware Jell-O mold which does not make it out of the cupboard so much but I do use it once in a while! I like the orange Jell-O recipe with mandarin oranges and ginger ale.

By far the best video! 1961 baby here and we made these recipes many times from those cookbooks! Dale wonderful voice, please sing more! Paula the format was perfect, I’d watch 1960’s recipes forever, so good❤

Bravo! Wonderful video Paula and Dale! I enjoyed the retro cooking from the 60's, as I too was a child in that decade. What a treat to hear Dale's beautiful voice, performing two great classics. If I could go back in time, it would be to the mid-60's 😊 I enjoyed this Way Back When-sday theme. Please do more!

Move over June Cleaver, Paula is in town & she's cooking on all four burners!! Hot diggity dog! What a peachy vlog. Thanks! (I've inherited the same cookbook, which I'll now have to dig out, dust off, & crack open as those meatballs sound terrific! )

I loved the comment about Swedish meatballs at Ikea. Watching this video made me think about going there to try them there. Better yet, I'll plan on making them at home.

Omg Dale & Paula! You both totally outdid yourselves! We absolutely loved this one. I remember my mother serving meatballs over buttered noodle, my husband remembers his mothers pineapple upside down cakes & I will always remember my grandmothers jello molds. And they were made with the line green jello. I still to this day make a lime jello salad with apples, celery & pecans for thanksgiving. So retro, such awesome memories & the songs from dales beautiful voice took us back to those wonderful & simpler times. We both graduated in the 70’s, but our childhood days were in the 60’s. Thank you both so much for such an entertaining video on this Wednesday evening. We felt a little guilty eating our Chick-fil-A dinner while watching your video. No fast food can compare to those delicious home made dinners our mothers made. ❤❤❤

Hey Dale and Paula, kudos! What a treat! I was a fan of Dion and the Belmonts, and also Dion when he struck out on his own I think he was highly underrated! Thank you Dale great job! Paula, we used to use that Betty Crocker cookbook, some amazing recipes in there! One of my favorites was the sweet and sour spare ribs! Would love to see both your channels grow too over 500,000 subscribers! You guys have such a class act!

I love these videos and Paula is a great in the kitchen. Dale I love listing to him sing. This is my question/request I love playing music in the background when I am working on the computer. I was wondering if Dale could put all of his award winning videos into one lone video so we can play his hits at one? Again a great video.

Great episode to see again, Paula! I hope we will see a late 1960's themed episode, because I'd love to see and hear Dale's work on the guitar covering "Voodoo Child" and "All Along the Watchtower" made famous by Jimi Hendrix!😀👍

Heck yeah I remember 1964 especially even at 6 years old then! “Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!” Plus, love the song choices and I believe Dale would be great at a Vegas piano bar or Tiki Lounge! Paula, as a teenager in cooking class in junior high we did that same recipe. I tried rebaking off memory but it didn’t cut it. Love the video! ❤❤

Cool. I am sorry I missed this one! Love the dress and apron! Cannot wait to hear Dale sing! Oh gosh, that cook book looks so familiar! On a side note...I make great meatballs! I use Ritz crackers, eggs, spices, ground beef - 2lbs. and sweet Italian ground pork - 1 lb. Dale is so awesome! That is just a fabulous rendition of Runaround Sue! Loved it! Those meatballs are looking good frying in the butter. Yum...Pineapple upside down cake. Another Dale song....let's go! Dang he is such a great singer! Oh wow...that cake looks as sweet as Dale sings. The food looks so great! Gotta have Redi Whip!

Maraschino cherries are good at hiding. I was looking in the baking and canned fruit sections. They actually keep them in the ice cream toppings section. Also, most liquor stores carry them in the same area they keep the olives and other garnishes.

Catching up with videos that I’ve missed watching as my husband went into the hospital on Christmas Day and sadly passed away on January 17 which was not expected. Watching your videos helps me get through this sad time. Swedish meatballs were one of his favorite dishes! Keep them coming!
