These are so helpful. As someone who struggles to learn harmony, thank you so much for doing so many of these on so many different songs. Thanks!

Thank you SO much for being so thorough, complete, & all-encompassing sharing ALL of the parts (bridges, chorus, etc.). Other singers' videos did not teach all of the parts only one. :) You did a great job. Be encouraged. I also appreciate that your makeup is light, natural, conservative, wholesome, modest (not heavy & worldly). Your natural beauty shines! :) God bless you, sister. Be encouraged. Keep up the great work! :)

Thanks, I have to sing a lot of harmony these days while playing lead since we have a small band for streaming and I was having trouble with an alternate harmony (we do it female led with the worship leader singing the harmony I tend to default to). This helped a lot.

Very nice harmony. I just can’t hear the music to tell how I should blend in with the other singers.
@lifehousecreative57793 жыл бұрын
Hey! These videos are always going to have the song further in the background specifically so that those learning hear the harmony louder than the melody. That's where a lot of people struggle, is not being able to hear it. As far as blending, that is going to be completely unique to your church, your sound system, how many vocalists you have on that day, your microphones, etc. There are a lot of factors. So just know that harmonies should be supplementary to the melody/person leading the song, so always use your dynamics, use mic technique and be pulled a little further back than where the leader has theirs, and listen to your other vocalists to blend. Also, I would suggest that once you've learned your part, just use the normal recording of the song to hear where the harmonies sit in the mix and practice that way!

The original writer and singer of this song is not Leland. It is Sinach. A Nigerian artist. Look it up. At least respect the original artist please. You probably didn't know. Still, I don't want to see a modern day Elvis situation. Thank you.
@lifehousecreative57794 жыл бұрын
Hey there! I actually did know that. A lot of worship songs are re vamps of old ones or hymns, but when an artist covers a song or does it in a new way, it doesn't make it "their song", but it does becone their version of that song. So when using any song as a reference for a tutorial like this, when titling it, you credit the person who's version you're specifically referring to. Thanks for the feedback though. Hope that clarifies things.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I gotta say, this version by Sinach is intense. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h36bm4R-epp0d80. Thank you, I had never heard of her before.
