Way of the Roses, Day One. Our 45-mile bike ride from Morecambe to Airton. Following National Cycle Network route 69/700 we make our way to Settle and face the epic climb up High Hill Lane, but then we are rewarded by a 3.5-mile descent into Airton.

Thanks for posting this video. Planning to do this ride in August this year. Not used to climbs where I live so was good to see the one out of Settle. That does look challenging but seems quiet so just need to concentrate on keeping the legs going. Will watch the others.

It's one of those things that's obvious once you see it, we were stood there looking at maps and Garmin's until we looked down & spotted the signage :)

I believe it is easier, the climb out of settle is nasty though, Enjoy :)

Hello inspector Hope, again I believe you are confusing the upload date with the actual ride date which clearly shown as "Saturday, September 10, 2016" on Strava. Steve
