It has not gotten any easier, though I have relocated from "way out west' to Arkansas - Instead of "trap step" Its Upchurch, Jellyroll or some variation of Copper head Road. /Sigh. - And the ex wife took my Italian Leather Sofas, still have the stereo and rum of course.

I was a few years old when this came out, and I listen to trap daily (well, phonk technically, but close enough). If you don't let electronic music become the domain of pretentious geezers (like with rock), then you can appreciate the glitchy, rolling attitude of trap as well as the techy, opium-infused, tribal rhythms of y2k-era prog house. "those whippersnappers will never know" yeah, I wonder why younger folks aren't so eager to check out what people listened to 20 years earlier... because you tell them not to.
