Thanks for the advice! 😊 I’m already sharing English tips through my KZbin videos , but teaching one-on-one sounds like a fantastic way to deepen my own understanding. 📚✏ It’s great to know I don't need to be an expert to help someone else learn. Using tools like the Elsa Speak app 📱 will add a fun and interactive element. Thanks again for the tips! 🙏

Hi Anna, could you recommend an accent/pronunciation coach? I've actually worked with John who you recommended in one of your old videos. It was very useful to learn phonetics, I've got a much better understanding of pronunciation, but it did not improve my accent. Pretty much he did not really work on my accent. Have you achieved your results by shadowing only or did you take more classes targeting the accent?

This is so true. I'm a native English speaker but I didn't really understand how English worked (grammar, rules etc.) until I started teaching. When I first started teaching, my students would genuinely have to explain the grammar to me because I had no idea and, based on what you're saying here, they probably got value from that process too😅.

My hope is that you have paid your "students" for their explanations of grammar. A teacher who didn't know grammar would make me very angry. In fact, I can't even call him a teacher.

@@alexandershcheglov4653 😂 well… I loved my teachers who, as I mentioned didn’t know it all. Not anything at all, but just didn’t know it all. They gave me so much more than merely grammar, which in real life communication is not that important BTW

@@EnglishFluencyJourney It's okay if you don't pay for lessons. But if you ask a question about grammar and a teacher starts to google it, it is terrible. I can google it myself, I can ask chatGPT myself, but if I pay a teacher, I want him to teach me. In fact, it was a reason why I stopped using Preply. There are a lot of native speakers who think they can get money just because they speak English.

Ann, I am subscribed to your channel and I study with your videos. I would like to point out that you are one of the few KZbinrs who does not “torture” her followers with music or background noise, helping us to concentrate on what you are teaching. But allow me to give you some constructive criticism. Why do you remove all the pauses between the end of one sentence and the beginning of another when editing your videos? I suspect that you do this to shorten the length a bit, but the end result is negative. For those of us who study with your videos, a minimum pause between one sentence and another is necessary for better understanding, as happens when we speak in real life. In your early videos you did not do this, and that is why I believe that the teaching was of higher quality. Otherwise, thank you very much for your valuable contribution to the study of English, and may the Lord bless you and your loved ones.

I totally agree that teaching someone helps a lot to advance in English, I took some English courses and I reached low intermediate and I thought I was going to teach everything I know to my son, and also reinforce the classes he attended at school. , and this was amazing how I learned a lot of content that I didn't know and I greatly reinforced my bases in English😊

You are so inspired to me. Thank you for your efforts and help. I really wish I can speak English fluently sooner. My level is B2 and so on there a few steps to reach C1 but I still find difficulty when I speak to others by 50% and I try not to feel frustrated.. I believe in it'll be better off If I speak and practice English with native speakers, so nowadays I will search for someone. Again I appreciate your advice and I attempt to follow it❤
