Wayanad - the most beautiful region in Kerala? part 1 + the BIG mistake in my travel plan!

Kerala has been my favourite state in India since the first time I travelled there in 2017 and I've always been eager to explore more. So many people have told me to visit Wayanad, saying that it's the most beautiful region in all of Kerala! It was initially hard to believe already having seen so many incredible places in the state! But I was intrigued, so after we'd moved to Kannur, we got on a South indian roadtrip and made Wayanad our first destination. Let's see what we found and if Wayanad really is as amazing as they make it out to be 😉
This travel vlog was filmed in December well before the Coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown. I don't encourage travelling even in your home regions during the Covid19 times! But do enjoy these virtual adventures with me and get inspiration for future travels in support of the indian economy! 😊🙏

@@Pune122 sorry to disappoint but that sounds nothing like Kerala (or WB according to @Rintu Ghosh's reply). We got all kinds of people here who are proud to call themselves an Indian, despite their religious beliefs. If there's anything we have a hard time associating ourselves with, it's the zealots who want their religion/race/caste to....dictate the entire nation? So glad to see that you are fascinated by India and absolutely love Kerala. Having said that what I like the most is that you have retained your individuality and is supported by your husband who unlike the many have not pushed their thoughts and practices onto you. I respect that a lot and am grateful for such men. There are a few foreign women who are subjugated by their husbands and it almost feels that they can't speak their mind. Unfortunately, some of them have KZbin channels and you can instantly know that they are brainwashed. You and your husband are a breath of fresh air!

Thank you so much for your kind comment! 🙏 I'm honoured, so much so that had to think a while how to word my reply. We definitely have many disagreements, but I'm very happy that both of us really value each other's independence and have an open mind to learning - key to any relationship I think! I actually saw this documentary about indian arranged marriage at the beginning of our relationship and loved how the father told his son, who he tried to convince about arranged marriage, that no matter how much you marry for love or whether it's arranged, you must always be willing to learn and get to know your partner all over again every day! Because the only thing sure in life is that 50yrs from now none of us will be the same person as we are now 😊🙏 Btw I'm quite sure I know which vlogger you talk about and THANK YOU! I'm very frustrated every time someone comments that I'm just like her and we should collab. 🙄

Definitely most beautiful places & water are in northeast. To make it as a tourist destination require lot of handwork for years as in Kerala (40 yrs effort). Last 3yrs, the process started for Northern Kerala as T.destination - you may learn how do it work and can copy to North East. Really sleepless nights for lot of people involved- IAS officers to individuals. Still Kerala is on 7th position in India with very small size industry only IRS. 40,000 crores. Nowadays I find from utube blogs that there so many inter racial couples and the girls are from all over the world married to Indian men and are leading a happy conjugal life. Indian men and Indians are very much family oriented. Hospitality and helping others in times of difficulty is one of the greatest virtues of Indian culture.God bless you both.

Yes Kashmir is the number 1 in our travel bucket list in India! We're both really worried if we'll ever get to visit there! Now I'm also worried about Leh. We had planned to go there this year actually, but who knows if that'll be possible in a very long time. Gotta also add that Himachal and Uttarakhand are absolutely stunning too :)

@@channelpolitica1364 what's the problem if someone convert someone's faith. It's none of ur business. I'm strongly supporting missionary activities around the world. Everyone can change their own faith or believe. Same way we can also approach someone to share our beliefs. Kerala never stopped anyone for converting others. It's their choice to believe whatever they need. Stay away with ur narrow mindset. I'm a proud agnostic person from kerala ♥️♥️♥️💪

Only narrow roads in kerala, not one Km of 4 lane road, will take 3.5 hours to travel which can be done in 40 minutes in states like Maharashtra, Gujarath, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Telangana........ almost whole of India. Nice VLOG though.

It must be so wonderful taking road trips in Kerala ( I wish you would learn to pronounce the name correctly, even if it's tiring ) with a person who doubles up as a chauffeur / husband. I have been watching your videos. You seem to live life on your terms... Beaches and beachwear, visits to European style cafes,sun-kissed blonde hair, foods of your choice. I don't want to sound rude but your videos have not much else to offer to viewers whereas Kerala has so much more to offer you . WELCOME TO KERALA,ANYWAY... GOD'S OWN COUNTRY!! I 😂
