You mentioned you added more insulation for heat under seat for engine and also said it doesn't really get hot. Just curious why? Mine stays a normal temp in cab. Different vehicles from what I have but curious of what was going on with yours. -Thanks

Hey, maybe I missed it. Can you provide more info on your stereo deck set up? I am looking to replace the old school single din in my 95 Bravo. The guys at Crutchfield didn't have much info. I need to figure out mounting / electrical connections. Do you have any info to share?

the japanese really keep the good stuff to themselves. btw, don't you guys convert your imported kei cars from right -hand drive to left-hand drive? i understand there are conversion kits available in the market.
@Waybeforethefame3 жыл бұрын
Nah i dont know who anyone who has ever converted a kei truck. But Japan definitely kept all the cool stuff for the JDM market
@RampartPh3 жыл бұрын
@@Waybeforethefame steering wheel conversion is actually par for the course in a no. Of countries w/c import kei vans/trucks. Reason being is they can't be registered in their local dmv equivalent because well, their right hand drive hehe

@@Waybeforethefame That is a good timing. kei car since 1998 has changed safety standards and has changed to a modern car. It is the best change for many Americans that their car width increased. lol So they are expected to be more popular.

seem like too much work and i think it'll look very good with the headliner stars

@@Waybeforethefame sunroof means rust, better insulate to stay cool and he has done that to the engine. The open windows all the way has enough cool air and no sunburn anyways.

Awesome video brother, hows the insurance on it? Insurance companies picky when it comes to insuring imports?

It’s pretty simple you can just use Hagerty

@@Waybeforethefame they pretty picky , this would be a veh for a daily commute or 2 to 3 times during the week, would progressive, Allstate, etc insure these type of vehicles kind of curious on how much insurance companies charge, let me know if you have any idea. Cheers.

Hi Brother - Mitsubishi offered the most crazy kei vans at that time for many years until Daihatsu went one up and offered electric curtains!!! could be an option on Bravo but never seen them myself so just speculating. Top of the range Toyota vans also had this high end option real gangsta stuff! myself just bought a lower spec Minicab wagon 1993 very cheap here in Japan of course. Have you tried epoxy for the buttons or some kind of glue? Also how is the engine sound before and after the sound deadening you did? Planning on doing the same but using also some silicone sealant thinned out with turps and paint it on to get all the metal bits that are hard to stick material onto. Silicone does a good job for heat as well. Great car but dont go 10k rpm without loading up also 7.5k rpm is max hp anyways ;) but its like an f1 like bike engine hybrid that could easily make hp at 9000rpm instead with some slightly re-ground cams. One last thing economy can be improved as will cooling using an electric thermo controlled radiator fan instead of the hp robbing mechanical setup. Enjoy!

Yeah thank you for the info, im going to be taking my van to Virginia from NYC about 1000 mile trip this week!
@Waybeforethefame3 жыл бұрын
Engine sound was about the same the heat has been non existent since the sound deadening tho
@altruismfirst64893 жыл бұрын
@@Waybeforethefame perfect the heat is the issue in summer. Just keep a 2 pack putty stick the ones for hot water pipes or any pip in the glovebox. Saved me from leaking water heater line and also repaired my AC lines using it. Very cheap here in Japan for a buck an inch is very handy. Also spare V belts or whatever belt yours takes just in case as I also had mine break and it was great when fitted yet somehow a rock got in (what I could figure) as the damage on the belt was obvious not from build quality. Lastly timing belt spare is a good move in case you are stuck somewhere since it is hard for many to know if its been changed for sure. Enjoy your trip bravo brother from Japan.
