Love the bag! I’m so glad you said that black thread always seems to give you trouble. I have a computerized machine and seem to have the same trouble!! I’ve just switched thread to another color and my seams look neater. Who knew?!? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks for a great tutorial, I love this bag I was searching for a new sling bag look and ran across your tutorial "Wow" it was like listening to myself...agh: omg the thread breaks, bobbin issues...Yes I also, talk to myself and machine "Sometimes you need expert advise" to get it together...lol

Tori, do you have a back lash spring in your bobbin case? If not I would get one for your bobbin case, it will save you loads of grief.

I couldn't for the life of me think of the name of that part but I also wasn't sure if it was something you took out the bobbin or put in LOL so I opted to wait for someone who knows what they're doing. 👍😆 I have heard about that the thread getting trapped in the case because of that but wasn't sure if that's what was going on in this case.

thank you for this great tutorial. If I use a thin vinyl with thin foam for the back and front and gusset, and cotton for the front zipper piece, do you think I will be able to turn it thru the pockets?
