You guys have made some great modifications for camping. I especially liked the seat planks that I can see you make wider for beds ? My wife even said how spacious the Wayfarer looked, and that she may even consider a future with a Wayfarer, so for that alone I thank you !!!!! Super of you to share the magic of the trip with us, thank you.

Thank you very much for your kind comments, can only strongly recommend a future with a Wayfarer. Yes the raised sleeping position is so much better than on the bottom boards with limited clearance under the centre thwart - the list of possible modifications is probably nearly endless!

I was very impressed with your overnight off Church Cove and also your pilotage off The Lizard. The Tressillian River looks beautiful. A great cruise.

Thanks for your comment - rounding The Lizard was a lot of fun!

Ahhhhh........... Thanks for that. I've been watching this delightful video after my busiest Ascot week ever and it was just the tonic I needed. Cannot get back down to Cornwall until October so I will be watching it again.

Well done, gents. Love the sound of wind, waves and rigging. Worlds better than some rubbish GoPro soundtrack...

Fantastic video! Is this a Mark Ia? Seems similar to W1378 we previously owned. Now with a Com-Pac Eclipse, but this type of cruising & video makes us want to go back to a Wayfarer. Would you know if the Mark IV is as good for dinghy cruising? Thanks

Excellent, that looked amazing! Well done for getting out there for the week. Feeling quite jealous about the apparent quietness of your engine, my little 2 stroke suzuki has quite a drone to it by comparison! I was wondering if you had any suggests on a recommended set-up for reefing afloat? Preferably one that won't require more holes in the boom :)
@Wayfarer23127 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. I have to admit to reducing the volume in the clips with engine noise so the video doesn't tell the full story! We have two slab reefs with lines run inside the boom. It does involve a few holes in the boom but is definitely one of the most worthwhile modifications we've made - would highly recommend it!

Thanks for the tip! I will ask around my local club and see if anyone has the skills for the operation. Happy adventures!!

Do you guys know where to get the boom tents from?

Sorry no, the company that made ours is no longer trading due to retirement.
