Backpacks are very huggable. I love my Hyperlite Waypoint 35 in white.

OH BOY! Waymark is currently in the radar. Still deciding between the new evlv or the thru40. Looking for a smaller 2-3 day pack.

Smokey B! I'd get the EVLV man! Taps has the Thru40 and it's massive

GDay thanks for your video. I got the EVLV Ecopak when it was in stock last month and shipment was immediate. Been training for my Tasmanian Overland hike here with this pack weighing in at 12 kg ( 26-27 lb ) with 6 days food and 2 litres water walking up and down 300 meter hills I must say it feels surprisingly comfortable. The load shifters are the key. My only complaint is that I didn't wait a bit longer to consider the Ultra. So it's not a complaint. I'm just impatient . The single loop this pack has is enough for 2 trekking poles. We don't need ice axes here in Australia. I actually pack my Vargo Bot 700 in the side pocket as it's stretchy enough and I've attached a Zpacks water bottle sleeve.

They should have taped the seams imo - not for waterproofing, but added durability on the ultra fabric.

I believe they bond the fabric but they also offer pack liners for cheap. Seam sealing tape is also easy to get and so solo just like on shelters

All those companies are making a basic mistake, not having a monofilament mesh and perforated/rippled foam on the back. This can be done with minimum weight. The point is to decrease sweating, water is 1Kg per litre, so the unnecessary sweating increases performance and decreases the amount of water you need to carry.
