You literally made my day! I am italian but, since some years I live in México. Just bought tickets for visiting family back in Italy and on my way back to México, I will stay 1 night at Zurich APT. I've always liked the idea of sleeping in one, but I know as soon as I got nice and cosy I'd have to go pee then face a walk down a long corridor to the bathroom 😢😄

I've never stayed at a capsule hotel but have seen some videos on them. I love that this one is at the airport but have the option of seeing the city. Awesome idea for a longer layover.

The capsule hotel sleeping area reminds me a LOT of the teardrop trailer I have for camping. It's basically a bed on wheels with an outside kitchen.

ohhh...i was stuck at that airport on a long layover 18 months ago. wish i would have known about this option. Eating inside airport is WAY expensive!

Other solutions to be early at the airport. Take a Hotel near Bahnhof Zürich Hardbrücke. (z.B. ibis budget Zurich City West) The train takes 9min Bahnhof Zürich Hardbrücke to the airport. (Every 30 min)

I think these are a great idea for airports so you don’t have to worry about transport early in the morning. I did look at them for Amsterdam city but people said they were noisy, so that would make me think twice but for one night I’d consider it!

Maybe one day you can try the hotel in Peru 1200 ft up on the side of a mountain. First, you have to climb up that 1200 ft

I am planning to visit Switzerland and booked capsule for one night. I will have one big suitcase and one cabin bag.. is there any facility to keep big luggage there ?

I travel often, I would definately try these out if more airports offered em. Quick question, do you have a safe place to put your luggage? Or is your luggage just out in the open?

Hey!! It was a great experience and I would also use them when available. They had locks 🔒 to lock the luggage to your bed so if you lock the luggage it’s petty safe. I did keep important items up in the pod with me.

That looked like my kind of a hotel. I don't need television, minibar or any common things that typically exist in hotel rooms. All I need is a bed and a toilet nearby. And an outlet for charging my phone.
