This is not just an interview, but a genuine conversation of fellow believers in Christ are having. That's church. Jen and Korey are still women who struggle, but they are putting their trust in God. I met them and the rest of the band back in 2020, they are kind people. I dealt with anxiety and depression. Can it happen again? Yes. However, The Holy Spirit is my comforter, my counselor, and my guide to The Truth. I won't stop until my last breath. Glory to The Most High.

One of the many things I really admire about Skillet is the way that they have solid foundations as people and are not afraid to stand up for their convictions. Not only are they super talented with great music, they have a message that makes you instantly inspired to live your best life.

You ladies encouraged me so much watching this. God can be found. Jesus already won our healing. We do need to just keep reminding ourselves of truth and keep putting one foot in front of the other till we are healed.

This helped me. I have been battling both depression and anxiety and a lot of it stems from my past. I was in continuous situations as a highschooler/ college student where I had no body to turn to. The only person I really could was God. I definitely still get hit hard everyday and have to continually remind myself of who I am. Lately God has been working on his definition of "redemption" which I personally is the greatest word in this issue. Today's Christianity talks about redemption in only correlation with the bonds of sin and the effect of Jesus on the cross but it goes so much deeper then that. Great talk.

Jesus, I love ecclesiastes too! People says is depressing, but I love how it is structured, and it's like yes, life sometimes sucks but there are things that make life worth living it. And the last verses are the cherry on the top: "That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty. God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad." Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 NLT It's just * chef kiss*

Very amazing interview! 😁✨ Just know that whatever you are going through is REAL, and it matters. But it does not define you as a Christian; regardless of the fact that you may not FEEL happy or feel like obeying and worshiping God or reading his word in The Bible, DO IT ANYWAY. I'm not suggesting that you need to work your way to God or anything like that, but I am suggesting that even if you don't feel super happy and joyful, that doesn't take away the, "joy in the Lord" believers should have; that no matter what we FEEL like, we can rest in Him. And we know that our current circumstances, as long as they may be, do not take away from what God promises us; that all will be okay EVEN IF it's not what we WANT. We are the servant ad he is the Master. But he's also our father, and he's also our friend. Jesus is always sitting by your side, and he cares so much even if what you are going through is drowning you and making you lose confidence in your faith. NEVER let that happen. Happiness and stable emotions may be temporary, but God's perfect promises are forever. Surrender fully to HIM, becoming born again. Repent and believe the Gospel. Believe and trust in The Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved from the fires of hell. And if God will do that, he can do anything for you. But regardless of what happens, stay true to Him. And feel free to talk to other believers who care, whether it be family or friends. We help each other go on. But go to God first, and trust in him with your LIFE. God Bless you all! - Chan, a servant of Jesus Christ

Hi can you pray for me I was living in iniquity and I am scared that God is done with me and I do not feel conviction anymore.
@masterchanakinskywalker533511 ай бұрын
@@danieltnx Of course I will pray for you. 🤗You can call me Chan. Thanks for opening up and saying what you said... sin struggles are SERIOUS. If you don't mind me giving you some advice... Don't listen to the thoughts that tell you you are worthless and that you'll never be free... that's not the message of the Gospel, right? "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." - John 8:36 Remember that Jesus DIED for that sin... he died for ALL of your sins. That's why you have to put your full trust in Him, whether you "do that sin" daily, or never. Because it's no about that one sin. It's the multitude of sins... more than you know... that are completely covered by Jesus blood if you follow after Him. Now, God does talk of obedience as being a REQUIRMENT. Not optional... which is why you feel that struggle. Because you know you are doing wrong every day beyond what is permitted for a Christian. It's wrong. And you are to repent... to confess your sin to Him and TURN away from it. Don't vow to never do it; ask Jesus to help you to resist and FLEE the temptation and help you to control yourself (one of the fruits of the spirit is self control. Galatians 5:22-23.) David can show you what true repentance looks like... after he sinner against Bathsheba and God in 2 Samuel 11, you can see his response in **Psalm 51.** Please read Psalm 51... it shows true repentance. Asking God to have mercy on Him... to RENEW and WASH him clean... and He sees sin as being as terrible as it truly is. And he repented. Pray to Him yourself. ASK GOD to give you conviction where sin has numbed you... to show you his bloody, beaten, agonizing death on the cross, which you have MOCKED in your actions of sinning continually grieving the Holy Spirit... knowing that there are people burning in hell over committing the same sins YOU are, and you still do it without remorse... ask Him to make you hurt over that... to be in AGNOY over your sin... that is called contrition; feeling bad about the wrong you do. And in Psalm 51 David said that "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and *contrite* heart. These, Oh God, you will not despise." Psalm 51:17. Pray about it and RUN from your sin. God will help you if you truly want Him... and you will begin to se more victory and more victory... until you are free. I know you probably don't feel like that victory is possible... you fear of being told "Depart from me, you worker of inequity. I never knew you." But if you repent... you will NOT ever hear that, and instead hear that he "was dead, and is alive again, and was lost and is found." You CAN be free from your sin... but you MUST trust that Jesus' Holy Spirit is stronger than your sin. And you can have victory... praying for you, sibling in Christ. I care. HE cares more.

Mine is a bit different. I have BPD and undiagnosed CPTSD and Depersonalization/Derealization Disorder. Renewing the mind, focusing on God, and being eternity-minded is simple and easy. Until traumatic memories and emotional flashbacks hit, then so does depersonalization and brain fog. Thinking at all is extremely difficult. Cutting and eating disorder relapses happen in dissociative states. I don't know. Is there advice when someone has episodes of trauma and dissociation that prohibit thinking in general? I hope this makes sense.

If money and fame were equivalent to not struggling then what about Job? Having money does not guarantee a life without struggles. Don’t be deceived that money is the answer. “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and yet lose his soul?” Korey didn’t say she placed her hope, faith or trust in earthly things but in Christ alone. Just because someone makes money doesn’t mean they don’t have struggles. Chester from linkin park was rich, but still struggled with depression which he eventually lost the battle to. Not all struggles are presented for all to see. There’s a lot that go on behind closed doors and in our minds. There was a time I was making 600+ dollars a week, had a nice black sports car, big white truck and a bunch of awesome guitars straight out of high school. But Guess what? I still had personal struggles. Money doesn’t equal happiness.
