Not excuses... then rattles off excuses... compare their injuries and suspensions to other clubs. No-one feels sorry for Souths when Latrell is suspended or injured for long periods. No-one feels sorry for the Storm when Pappy is gone for a year and more. You can't polish a turd, and the Eels can pay and wrap Gutho and others as 'marquee' players, but they aren't. Results prove it. They have paid a fortune for their teams and even cheated the salary cap a few years ago to get their team together. They aren't even the best team in West Sydney..
