Try parts of NEWARK.THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. ALSO TOWNS ABUTTING NEWARK LIKE WEST ORANGE , SHORT HILLS, SOUTH ORANGE PLUS.

...walked to & from school every day - first to IHM in Packanack lake from Mandon driver - up one hill, down the other for 2 years then walked to & from DePaul...still have those routes from 60 years ago burned into my 73 year old mind...

Wayne has a fairly high crime index, due to the many shopping centers/malls. Car theft, and simple assault skews the numbers to the negative. Blame the many highways that crooks use to get in, and out of town. As for violent crimes, it's virtually zero.
