Watched part 1 last night. Wow! Wayne was brilliant. This series does him justice from what I’ve seen so far. Well done. Everybody spread the word. We need more content like this!

Absolutely one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. It delves in to what kind of fertile environment of a child's life, combined with unconventional parental influence spawned his unique genius. The production approach, using new animation as well as some of Wayne Shorter's own illustrations and paintings, beautifully articulates why he is one the most brilliant artists of our generation. This production will undoubtedly garner many awards. It's a shame it is not available on demand outside of Amazon.

What an amazing documentaries (I watch all three back to back). It gave me a greater understanding and appreciation of Jazz and the genius behind it.

little bit of everything - classic rock, country, blues, folk music and some "smooth jazz" - this story was an eye opener for me - it gave me insight into the seeming randomness of jazz. I always loved the way Joni's music seemed to paint a musical "picture" and to find out that was the intent made jazz "click" for me . @@bill3837​
