I've been doing this eye cream hack and OMG the results are amazing! Simple: Take your favourite eye cream. Apply generously. Then SLUG a dot of vaseline over it. Repeat. The results are amazing! You can even do this a few times a week with your treatment product (tretinoin) for amazing results!

I had an old, old, old patient teach me about Vaseline. She looked 60 but was in her 80s. Vaseline was her secret. She used vaseline as her moisturizer in the evening. No wrinkles. She didn’t do this huge amount, just a thin layer as a light face cream. People frown on vaseline because it’s petroleum derived, but it’s non-comedogenic and doesn’t feed bacteria like plant oils. It’s better for your skin if your acne prone, especially fungal acne which feeds and multiplies off of oils and sebum. You just want to use a really good cleanser each day to throughly cleanse the skin the next morning. I use bioderma atoderm cleanser. Love you Wayne. You look great btw.💜

@@fredacharbel7510 I wonder why the Vaseline would irritate your eyes because there are ophthalmic ointments (antibiotics, steroids) that are administered in a petrolatum base because it’s totally inert and does nothing. Are you buying a Vaseline with something in it? Like I actually prefer the one with cocoa butter but that could potentially be irritating. Try to put it around the eyes but not right on the eyelids. Good luck. (Cerave is safe but if you don’t like the Vaseline the cerave will probably be worse).

One of the many reasons I will always prefer your videos to other influencers (beyond the fact you have experience and qualifications to back up your knowledge) is that you always explain to limit things. I used to do slugging every night, but ended up with milia around my eyes because my skin couldn’t handle the occlusivity all the time. It sounds silly but it never occurred to me to limit this, I just thought it wasn’t for me.

I just commented and then glanced down and saw your comment about CeraVe Healing Ointment. I’ve been using it for a couple of years, on advice from my dermatologist, and I agree with you 100%! I also apply this a couple of hours before I actually get to bed and have had no issues with it getting on my pillows. I also use it on my cheeks where I have redness due to rosacea. I’ll be 54 in a couple of weeks and the other day a woman (who turned out to be 35) thought I was her age! I don’t think I look quite that young but people often think I’m much younger. I buy the really large tubes and it lasts for ages. My 17 year old daughter has eczema and her hands are so awful especially in the winter with cracking and bleeding. The healing ointment is one of 2 products she can use that doesn’t burn and actually helps. I wish I had some before and after pics.

Loved this 😊! part two of this tip is super important, as too much congestion can lead to irritation or milia (Also known as the random bumps that may sort of send me crazy lol). Best tip to remain consistent is choose two days. Either the two days in prep for the weekend, the weekend in prep for the week, or as a mini prep for both by applying on the night before both (typically Thursday and Sunday). Seeing benefits in skincare is all about consistency, and Wayne Goss style in true to form consistency is that “less is more” 🌼😊🌼

@@laura_sotomayor milia are like small keratin cysts, so fastest way to remove them would be at a dermatologist office via laser or extraction. @lunar686
@lunar686 11 ай бұрын
@@collettchaney120 depends what you mean by ‘baggy’? Loose skin, discolouration, puffiness, or maybe allergies or a combination? The skin around the eye is only about a quarter of the thickness of the skin on the larger areas of your face, so it is always better to treat it more delicately. there is a period of adjustment with products like tretinoin, which is essentially designed to speed up skin cell turnover, that will enhance skin sensitivity, it doesn’t last forever and generally has positive effects on all the other concerns that may cause a baggy appearance to the eye area. But...nothing works if you don’t protect the area with sunscreen. Sunlight is pretty dam good at causing all the problems we associate with baggy eyes

Thank you for the demo! I wasn't sure about slugging but I will try it. What I also love is that you aren't recommending a $30 balm to put over the eye cream, which I have seen and was considering but I'm on a tight budget now. You're the best! xx

It’s ok to apply Vaseline after retinol? Or I have to put on my face first retinol, moisturizer and after that vaseline???

Oh, definitely going to try this! Been so frustrated with my skin as I'm nearing 50, between the lines and dryness it's pretty upsetting. The under eye area has definitely been a source of frustration so I'm going to try this to help that area stay moisturized and hopefully younger looking! Thanks! 🙂

Castor oil rubbed into skin covered with vaseline at night. I'm telling you, try it for 30 days. It even tightens skin around eyes and makes hooded eyes less hooded

I do this and also have gotten reusable silicone patches from Pacifica (also a forehead patch) and I sleep with those. It really helps having an sleep eye mask to hold things in with no issues. The forehead patch truly helped with my forehead wrinkles

Thank you very much for your videos! Love you and your suggestions. I do this trick once in a while and I thought I invented it! This is hilarious. As I am 47 I have mature skin but I am lucky, Iook younger just because of my skin. But I don't love my undereye, I have dark circles since I can remember (I remember as a 10 year old looking in my mirror and hating my dark circles). It is just my anatomy. But I am always on the lookout for ways to make them more obvious and prominent. So one day I told myself... Why do not lock in all the hydration? So I started putting Vaseline over my eye cream. The thing is that I don't like the feeling of it. But it is absolutely true. My skin, after I do that is so plump that there is a little improvement even in my dark circles. Thank you again and love from Italy. Rita
