BTW I am the single mom of 4, still haven't renamed them lol. SubhanAllah I had no idea who SQ was until we were at the convention, my daughters were pointing him out with the huge crowd he had around him. They apparently watch and subscribe to his videos. Anyway we decided to go see what was going on, and we were able to participate in the game, so glad we did. Alhamduliah what an honor it was to play this with my daughters. My poor Salsabeel she is such a team sport her sisters dissed her!! lol I am now a huge fan Mr. SQ and may Allah (swt) continue to bless and honor you and your work, continue to make it easy for you to continue on with the beautiful work you do!!! I strongly recommend everyone to listen to the stories of the prophets series that Mufti Menk did as that was the first time I felt I had heard any of the stories and gained knowledge if islamic history but alhamdulillah his series on the life of Muhammed s.a.w. completed the process to me finally, for the first time, saying the shahada with a love of Allah and his rasool s.a.w. alhamdulillah for Allah's guidence. The thing that chnaged my salah was learning how we are able to to make Fua in sujood. I think Mohammed Hijab's charity advert came up in Ramadan and that blew my mind it was like a paradigm shift for me to increase the quality of my salah and think of it as a time for connection with Allah along with all the videos about the proofs in the qur'an that the qur'an is preserved and from Allah Subhana'wat'ala as a guidence for us. Alhamdulillah. This was a turing point. I felt i had finally submitted my will to Allah after all of this. Any knowledge of Fiqh I gained from Assim al hakeem and Quran and authentic hadith, I was completely accepting of solely to be obedient to Allah. For Allah's pleasure and fearing his displeasure. In sha Allah we can raise our children with knowledge of islam in a manner that is healthy for them and so they have a clear healthy and strong relationship with Allah no matter thier surroundings. May Allah forgive us all and strengthen our ummah and guide us all.ameen.
