I can’t thank you enough for sharing your time, insights, tips & tricks and acquired skills for the world to learn from. Being a new welder (retirement planning) I’m beginning to think that I should’ve taken up playing the drums in a Heavy Metal band for chreeest sake! I did just get a few new things from the video that I’m going to try as soon as I get back home from my day job. I’m absolutely sure I picked the wrong profession to pay the bills.

Thank you sir for the great, great tips! Treating the pointed heat-source as a direct energy projector, like a laser gun, is a real eye-opener for me. I always thought it didn't matter that much, like in melting a bowl of icecream with a blowdryer! Experienced tradesmen shrugging off pride and spending time to share their secrets is what pushes humanity forward. I'd honestly send you a crate of our best Belgian abbey beer if I get to know your address!

Thanks for the watch and welcome to the channel!
@szametha5 ай бұрын
@@wayofthewrench Subscribed. As a Belgian I would recommend these two beers to definitely try once in your life: Black and red labelled Omer Traditional Blond, my favorite allrounder; sparkly silky taste, a heavy hitter but very forgiving towards head and gut of the overenthusiastic consumer due to the quality of its ingredients. And Paix Dieu ("God's Peace'), even heavier, with an amazing rich creamy taste! Literally a drink of the gods.

Thanks, I'll have to try those. Thanks for the sub! Cheers!

You have good production value and explain the information clearly. Love those transitions. Your videos should be getting more views. I bought a cheap multi-process welder to learn on and am using KZbin as my guide. I will be waiting for the weld diagnosis video.

Thanks! I am trying very hard to create some quality content for my channel and I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. Yes, I totally agree with you but it is insanely hard to break through KZbin's algorithms. If you enjoyed the video, I'd really appreciate a share out on your social media. Good for you for teaching yourself how to weld. If you stick with it, you'll be welding in no time. I've got a really cool video idea for the Mig welding troubleshooting video, you'll have to trust me. Cheers!

Thank you for sharing these awesome videos! Would love to learn about how you approach tack welding with a stick welder. Looking forward to more tips!
@wayofthewrench3 жыл бұрын
Tacking is pretty much the same for every welder but a good trick for tacking with stick welders is to grab the electrode like a pencil rather than the holder so you have more control. You have to start away from your tack so you can scratch start it too. Cheers!

The number one tip for any welder is, if you don't want to be gasping for breath when middle aged, get a airflow mask and protect your lungs.

plz inform about online free courses of welding and inspection
@wayofthewrench3 жыл бұрын
Online courses are available at the Canadian Welding Association CWB group. The link is in the video description. I am sure there are others too at other technical universities. Now as for free, I would bet that there are almost none. You might look into any grants/subsidies/bursaries to pay for your course though. I won't be running any official training or certification but I do offer free online tutorials with my videos and I honestly think they are worth their weight in gold for someone looking to learn about welding and improve their skills. If you do find something free, let me know so I can help others in the future. Cheers from Canada!
