Nice tip. perfect size for cooking Hoe Cake. Hoe Cake: 2 parts corn meal, 1 part Instant "Just add water" Pancake Mix, salt, and enough water to form thick batter. The wheat gluten in the instant pancake mix is the binder for the corn meal since corn meal has no gluten. Just fry up like a thick pancake.

@@WayPointSurvival there's another idea that I used coat hanger for. When I used to hunt squirrels and rabbits I would make a close pin style and take the back feet together and run the wire through and then have it hanging on my belt loop or belt depending on the number of squirrels or rabbits I shot. Another great Stanley hack. You're starting to build a bit of a reputation for those on YT. While you were manipulating the wire, I was trying to think of a way to straighten and shape it without a plier of any kind. Of course you wouldn't make something like this on the fly, so you should be doing it in a workshop environment with all the tools you need. But it got me thinking about how to straighten wire or make a sharp bend IF it was ever needed in the bush and I noticed your stump top. If you rewatch the video and look at the 7 o'clock position you should see a check/crack in the top of the stump. I've never done this, so I could be totally wrong here, but do you think you could work that wire inside that crack to form some of the bends that you did with the multitool? If it would work, it might save risking an injury to the fingers that could come, otherwise, from a bare handed, brute strength approach. Keep crankin' these out and I'll keep watchin'!

If you secure one end and twist the other in a drill or with pliers (just takes longer) the wire will become perfectly straight …hope that helps. PS Could you not use the holes in the lid from the top down to hold the handle if you put two kinks in it..just a thought.

Same idea but if you made it into an open U and then put the 2 ends into a stick so it won't be hot?

nice to know but i'll stick with it's sister frying pan for now since i've already bought the thing! found a lid that'll work for it too! if you're looking an old slow cooker is good candidate!! by the way speaking of slow cookers i found a rack out of one that makes a great cook set grill but i have to either use metal stakes rocks or logs with it, any ideas on how to put folding legs on it where it's not too wobbly? also i rewatched the one on adding a bail handle to the 2 cup pot set and noticed that you could use pop rivets instead of the chicago screws if you could knock the shaft out of a pop rivet and use that instead of the screw part!

Good ideas. The legs might be made from wires and stabilized by merely pushing them into the ground. Thanks for watching!
