A very great majority of us born Muslims haven’t appreciated or cared for this gift of Islam which we inherited!! It’s apparent from the state of our ummah today. Just loved this talk. The anecdote in the beginning was so much like mine when I was his age except it was a janitor who did that and the teacher and head mistress didn't use their own good judgment and called my parents. It's an amazing talk.

I loved Guy de Maupassant too. I read "Une Vie" in French 😉 in one breath. Hamza Yusuf is a treasure and a marvelous, genuine, unpretentious teacher. ❤ I converted to Islam aged 40. I discovered him very quickly after that and I am so grateful. I absorb pretty much everything he says like a sponge. 🧼🫧

When speak about education in proses , no one tell us that the proses took our entire life ... Elder people said "Now everything make sense to me, the whole education meaning in every inch of our life .. while young people say school r scam " , School can be a scam only if the curriculumn arnt fit for what the sociaty need to gain a better life in the future. I agree with it n religion implementation are the very bassic of the whole education.
