These talks are for students and scholars. Hence most will struggle to understand much of the terminology in its correct way.

Dear Sheikh. IT made monumental blunders same as other humans. His title of shaykh of islam is debatable as it would be given by his followers and those influenced by him. His alleged anthromorphic concepts of God was primarily the reason for his persecution as even his students such as ibn jawziyah were persecuted due to these beliefs they learnt from IT. Many takfiiris also use his writings as IT gave legitimacy to their crimes with his fatwas.

The core difference between Imam Al-Ghazali and Ibn Taymiyyah is that Al-Ghazali believed Allah was Perfect and Incomparable. IT, on the other hand, believed God was a giant object with organs.

Brother please don’t disrespect the great sheikhs of the past

I read that Ibn Battuta heard IT's khutbah verging on anthromorphism. IT allegedly said that God descends like "I am descending" while walking down the stairs of the minbar. This enraged the scholars as it went against the Aqeedah maxim "God does not have a direction He travels". Any mention of God descending from heavem in ahadith or Quran is purely metaphor.

@@oddizzee source? .. the state of the current ummah is apparent. The salafi’s refute the Suffi, the Suffi’s refute the Salafi and call them wahabi as they don’t understand fiqh. Brother, talking bad about IT rahimuAllah will not in increase ur rank in jannah right? So why bother. Just like when ppl say is the prophet SAW alive in his grave or made of light? It’s simple, if he is or if he is not how will that affect your journey in the barzakh or affect ur rank of jannah? It literally doesn’t so why should we even waste our breath on idle talk? .. apply the same reasoning when debating about sheikhs from the past. They are sheikhs akhi, they didn’t have a “KZbin” video to watch to gain knowledge they donated their lives, livelihood and wealth to seek knowledge so put respect on that. Jzkhair

True, the Wahabis believe Allah is a giant statue that lives in the sky and has a place etc etc 😂😂. Audhubillah!!!
