How to saw Gwapa in Tagalog or is it used interchangeably?

"Nagpapasalamat ako" no one really uses this except for formal speeches Lol
@ravendon9 ай бұрын
Interesting. Nagpapasalamat contains Salamat, which is a Muslim name for Allah. Part of the greeting, As-salamat alaykum. This shows the language relation between the Phillipines and Indonesia, a Muslim country.

The Philippines was predominantly Muslim before the Christianization in the 16th century with the arrival of the Spanish. Salamat is the root word used. Many would just say, "Salamat." or "Salamat po." in everyday conversation. "Nagpapasalamat" tends to be very formal.

@@elifuentes7070 yeah but this is all from arabisation, being muslim was never the norm for either country
