In today's video we are driving 100 miles from Negombo to Galle, and as it became the theme of the Sri Lanka travel series, it wasn't as smooth as we hoped. But as weird as it sounds, it was the perfect first day.
The road was busy and intimidating, but we somehow became part of the flow. We said hello to so many friendly locals and got so many smiles that by the end of the day, our hearts were so full ❤️
We hope you enjoy today's video. We're trying something different with this travel series and making these videos was not easy. So we truly hope you enjoy how they turned out.

hahaha yes he really was! We were terrified, but I guess survival mode is a real thing 😂 and it did help how kind and patient people were with us. We were greeted only with big smiles and friendly hellos 🥰

hahahaah amazing video guys! we indians are so used to this chaos and traffic that i feel exact same way as you, i get same anxiety as yours when i drive in Germany or US with so many rules and speed limit. Its crazy and diverse how we feel differently in different situation.. beauty of mankind!😆

@@amelie4905 true! Because we are so used to easily navigate through chaotic traffic that every body following the lane and less traffic, no honking feels weird in the beginning. It's definitely much better with times, no doubt!

just be careful when you extend your arm out to wave or to point, some vehicle may pass with full speed very close and may hurt your arm..💢 and always stand on the left side of the road even when you halt💢

It was so crazy but the best adventure ever! So many new things to take in! Top speed was probably 50km lol (speed limit for tuktuks is 40km though 🫢) - and OMG every night when we showered, the water was so dirty hahaha and our hands and faces too. It was bad 🙈

Yes, so the economic situation is still not great for locals. That's why we wanted to go there and promote tourism in Sri Lanka because it's a direct way to positively impact the local economy. The people are insanely kind and welcoming and of course, the country is so beautiful ❤️
