WayV is like the most multilingual group of NCT. Yangyang and Ten speak the most languages. So Yangyang definitely knew what he was saying with 'wanna make it clap' 😂. Yangyang speaks German, Mandarin, Korean, English and a bit of Spanish. Ten speaks Thai, English, Korean and Mandarin.

@@retro_mxxn3334 Yes, but if you have watched any of Ten's reality shows recently where he has been a mentor, he still can speak and understand well enough to communicate with the Japanese mentors and trainees. Just because he isn't actively studying it at the moment, doesn't mean he doesn't know it. I think he has studied it long enough in the past that we can still say he can speak Japanese. Just my opinion. I mean if you're going to say YangYang speaks Spanish, then I think saying Ten speaks at least some Japanese, isn't out of line. I mean Ten knows more Japanese than YangYang knows Spanish. I'm sure Ten could hold a pretty good conversation in Japanese if he needed to, where I don't think YangYang could speak enough Spanish to have a conversation.

Oh believe me, WayV knew exactly what they were saying. They are a multilingual group and can speak at least 3 languages, with Ten and Yangyang speaking the most languages. You should check out their latest release “On My Youth”. Its so good.

Ten and YangYang are fluent in English and Lucas is basically fluent. They totally knew the lyrics and it is "feel me up". They've joked about it in other content.

So happy that you’ve finally introduced yourselves to WayV. Known as NCT’s most chaotic unit. 😂 They are my second favourite group (after EXO).. Also, everyone seems to have the same reaction to “touch me, tease me, feel me up”. You might not be able to handle the video for “Bad Alive”😂

@@LesEXO2012 Have you watched any of WayV’s quarantine videos? They are something else. But the best videos are the ones for Winwin’s birthday. When they are all dressed up as Disney Princesses, leading to a dance practice for “Bad Alive”. In costume. 😂 That being said, Jaemin alone, from Dream, is chaos in one cute little package. 🤣

Fun fact: As you heard, the MV for WayV's "Love Talk" is an all-English version, but -- because WayV is the Chinese sub-unit of NCT -- if you listen to the album, you will see there is a Mandarin version of the song, as well. SM just chose to only make an MV for the English version. LOL. Kun, who is the leader of WayV, is actually 3 or 4 years OLD than Mark. Not a "younger brother" at all. Because WayV -- which stands for We Are Your Vision in English -- is part of NCT, NCT's whole dream concept is also part of WayV's storyline and concept. As with everything NCT does, it all has to do with dreams, dreaming or something to do with being in a dream state. Some fans who are into SM group theories have also speculated that NCT's storyline also connects to EXO's storyline. Therefore, I think in WayV's "Love Talk" MV you are supposed to interpret it as if you are inside a dream. I see the cube that is floating in the air as part of SM's labyrinth concept where, like EXO, they might be trapped inside a maze. Which, if the maze is part of the Red Forces' plot, could be why they are in a foggy dream state. As you have seen, in EXO's storyline it is thought that the Red Force has trapped EXO in a maze and the maze dulls EXO's sense and makes it so they are unable to fight back. We often see the EXO members in a sleepy dazed state because they are under the Red Forces' control. And now with the release of aespa's "aespa ep. 2 'Next Level' -- SM Culture Universe" video, it looks like that same floating labyrinth cube that we see in "Love Talk" is what blocks aespa's way as they travel through Kwangya. And I think it might even be connected to the cubes we see in the sky in EXO Kai's solo "Mmmh" MV, as well as the labyrinth cube we see SHINee's Key standing on top of in his solo "Gasoline" MV. The only reason why WayV doesn't have NCT in their name like the other NCT sub-units is because, at the time of their debut, there was a lot of political issues between Korea and China, and because of that -- as you know with EXO's Lay -- Korean companies were not able to work in China. NCT's Chinese sub-unit has been going to debut for years, but with all the political issues it took SM a long time to find a way to work around all the rules the Chinese government put in place to prevent its native Chinese citizens from working with anyone associated with Korea and preventing anyone who was working with a Korean company from working in China. Therefore, in order to circumvent some of China's restrictions, SM found/created a Chinese company that was willing to take on NCT's Chinese sub-unit, but also allow SM to have a say in the group's concept and promotion activities. Part of how they get around the rules is they gave the group a name that distances them from their Korean roots. (That is also why WayV's Chinese fans are called WayZenNi instead of NCTzens and why WayV has their own lightstick design that is different than NCT's) The company WayV is under is called Label V, which is part of SM, but separate from the Korean branch of the company and it produces songs in Mandarin to keep the Chinese government happy. All the members of WayV also speak Mandarin and have some connection to Chinese heritage, but most of the members are not native mainland Chinese citizens, so this gives them some immunity from the Chinese government. But they are representing China and they are promoting Chinese culture, so the Chinese government kind of turned a blind eye to the fact that they are technically still under a Korean company, as long as they hid any connection to their Korean company while doing promotions in China. As you can see, not only do the WayV members speak Mandarin, Korean and English, but they are a very international group that speaks many languages. For example, Ten is from Thailand so his first language is Thai, Lucas is from Hong Kong, so his first language is Cantonese -- Hendery and Xiaojun also speak Cantonese -- and YangYang went to school for several years in Germany, so he also speaks German. So, pretty much all of WayV's songs are in Mandarin with a few English lyrics and words mixed in. (Except when it's an English version, such as "Bad Alive" or, as you heard, their all-English version of "Love Talk," or their song "Miracle", or if you happen to pick the Korean versions of "Turn Back Time" or "Kick Back.") LOL Because WayV is the Chinese unit, but they are releasing music in Korea and promoting in Korea, not specifically in China, makes it so SM is more likely to produce the song in English. Hence, why the majority of WayV's songs lately are English songs, because -- due to the pandemic, political issues and WinWin busy with solo activities in China, etc. -- they weren't promoting as a group in China at the time. I think it helps SM avoid any crossover issues with Korea that might make it more difficult for them to promote in China, when they eventually get back to activities in China. You should also check out a live performance of "Love Talk," because there is actually choreography that goes with the song. It's even better live. :D

Coming up with the most wholesome interpretations of the lyrics is adorable, however I have to lyk that WayV as an NCT subunit has the highest concentration of fluent English speakers combined. They said what they said AND THEY MEANT IT. Cos this was their hoe phase, and we were all 100% AFTR 💅 😏😌. FYI the pretty one with the nice voice is Xiaojun. He blesses us with his ethereal sound on the regular🤌🏾🤌🏾

WayV are immaculate lol I just adore them so much Yes they all understand english even if some of them don't speak it fluently but like others have said YangYang and Ten are fluent, Hendery and Xiaojun are basically fluent like 85% maybe lmao and the others understand a lot 😂

WayV does not disappoint! Their entire discography is absolute heaven to listen to. 💚 When WayV performed this song live in KCon LA 2023, the entire arena went feral! The screams for that song in specific was unmatched the entire night (the only cheers comparable were for Taemin, so that says a lot!!) Some of my personal favorite songs are Moonwalk and Turn Back Time, but literally all of their releases are so good!! On My Youth is their most recent comeback title track and Poppin Love is a fan-favorite b-side (with track video) that was from the same album. Speaking of fan-fav b-sides, I HIGHLY recommend watching the track video for Action Figure!! Thank you for reacting to WayV and I hope to see more in the future!! 💚

127 used to be considered the Hoe unit...then WayV came along lol. Trust me when I say that WayV knows and understands what they'r'e saying.Ten and Yangyang are fluent in English and the others have enough of an understanding to know. Not to mention Kun mentions the demo of this song (it's called body talk) and how much more explicit it was.

I just wanna say I watch every second of your long, rambly intros. I love them! Which is funny because I usually speed through intros… but something about your mostly pointless, all over the place banter is hypnotizing 😂 also I love this songs it’s delightful 💚 also also the original version of the song was called body talk and it was even spicier. 😬 Considering that the demo was originally titled Body Talk, and in the context of the preceding “Touch me, tease me” lines, I’d venture to say that the most wholesome interpretation of “fill me up” would be a bit out of place here 😂 It’s definitely “feel me up”. And I agree with Kerry, I much prefer this one bc at least it doesn’t conjure up the mental image of… let’s just say SuperM fans 😅

WayV 💚💚 Great video, thanks! WayV are my favourite sub-unit in NCT, their songs just hit differently (also my ult Xiaojun and his heavenly vocals). I hope you check out more of them, I recommend Phantom, On My Youth, Nectar (live version😉), Miracle, Kick Back, Dream Launch. Also they're such good dancers and their choreos are fire, maybe see some dance practices too! WayV are the chinese sub-unit of NCT, they sing in chinese, korean and english and are multi-lingual kings!! They can speak 7 languages among them - also their english is pretty good so they definitely know what they're saying in this song 😆

Imagine my shock when I decided to give WayV a try and I started with this song 😳 This track is written by London Noise ,known as LDN Noise, a british duo composers very known for their numerous songs written for many kpop artists and groups, but mostly EXO title tracks ,like Monster, Power, Lucky One, Lotto, Lightsaber, the recent No Makeup and the list go on !! LOL. Kun, who is the oldest member and the leader of WayV, is almost 4 years OLD than Mark. Not a "younger brother" at all. Mark is 24 and Kun is 28. Plus, Mark is Korean and Kun is Chinese. :D At a glance they might look a little alike, but if you see them together and get to know Kun, I don't think you will think they are as much alike.

😂😂😂 So, the first seven minutes and one second consisted of 6 minutes and 50 seconds of you two prattling on and 11 seconds of mv. I loved it! Totally stopped you in your tracks, and you’re not the first nor will you be the last. The debate over whether or not they were saying “fill” or “feel” was kinda interesting, except for the fact that the captions clearly read “feel.” So yeah, they were saying “feel.” 😂 WayV does seem to have a sexier attitude, and Xiaojun and Yangyang are my biases. My favorite song is “Phantom”; looking forward to your reaction to that one.
