No such thing as Chinese KPOP, KPOP music is pop music mostly created in the West & sent to Korea, if they like the song, they convert it to Korean, the same song sang in English in America would just be just pop

If we’re talking about specific genres, yes you’re correct. But I like to specify kpop as more of a category because groups like WayV are under a kpop entertainment company, and are part of a kpop group so I like to include WayV as kpop even though majority of their music is chinese music. I also consider english songs by kpop artists as kpop purely because they are by kpop artists, but when it comes to the actual genre of the song then yes I would say it’s just pop.
