We love Groundhog Day! Most Feb 2 or close to it is watching it. So Woodstock, I’ll. Is definitely on the “must see” list…as is the “League of Her Own” site. Hubs noted the nod to GD at the end.

I'm from Illinois and like the Cubs too, always have. I wanted to thank you for your service. We just had a family get-together to send my great nephew off to the army. Watching the honors at the end of your videos always puts a lump in my throat, every time. Thank you for honoring these service men and women.

It is our pleasure. We hope your nephew has a great military career. 🇺🇸

So sorry I’m late on watching your video every time I tried yesterday the internet went out and came back on but then it was slow and kept circling and then froze and now it’s good. I think it’s the heat out here and it stormed as well. So I’m good now so I’m watching it now.

Great video I’ll have to put this on my bucket list. To answer your question $.74 would be $9.11 today which is still not bad considering how much tickets really cost. Stay safe and God bless.

That is the original Rockford Peaches stadium but, most of the game scenes from the movie were filmed at League Stadium in Huntingburg Indiana and Bosse Field in Evansville Indiana.

You were in my hometown of Woodstock. I would go and watch them film Ground Hog on my lunch hours. My Uncle was actually in the movie as an extra in the dance scene that was filmed at the Woodstock Moose Club. Fun fact Trains, Planes and Automobiles staring Steve Martin and John Candy was partially filmed in Woodstock. Great video!!

Thanks for the video. We love Groundhog Day, and we live in Southern Illinois, but never knew the movie was filmed in Illinois. Guess we should pay closer attention to the credits at the end. We will check it out next time we head north.

Great video! Thank you fir showing where both movies were filmed it’s good to know where they were filmed. I saw both if those movies years ago on cable. Loved both movies. Penny Marshall did a great job filming that movie. I didn’t know it was true story until the end. That’s good to know Ground Hog Day was not filmed in Pennsylvania. But in Illinois. It’s always fascinating to know where they make the movies and how. Thank you Dustin and Leslie for this video. Well done! See you both real soon! Safe travels.
