@@unknowguy9642 yeah in multiplayer is known as 'Lore of Manticore' due to the op Manticore summon. The Manticore is really good to terror out low leadership units or to pressure ranged/artillery, however in single player you are usually dealing with bigger armies and it's better to spend Winds of Magic in spells that provide pure destructive power like vortexes or winds.

For my opinion Woodelves would be better if they get this agressiv ambush stance like the Skaven because this is what I think would suit the Woodelves. But thank you for wining my battle. And I recruited the Spellcaster only because she have the trait with 10% more range and to drop the monster on enemy artillery.

Based on thematic lore, I feel like it would make more sense that they would be able to catch enemies in ambush over the end turn vs launching an ambush attack like skaven.

40 missile strength is extremely weak for Waywatchers. This guy must not be stacking Sacrificial Grounds for the extra ranged/melee damage.

I think he is stacking another type of buildings for extra income. And actually I wouldn't say it is too bad. Wood Elves get extra % income for every LL capital they control (like Massif Orcal, Scavenblight or Sartosa), so stacked with extra 1% income at other settlements, this gives those wood-cities back in Athel Loren quite a good boost. This won't give you an economy even nearly as good as asur or druchii can have, but at least you will not have to raise a province capital every few turns in order to just maintain your budget above zero

@@MinNJW2111 You seem to entirely be misunderstanding the point; Wood Elves have a structure they can build that globally increases missile damage. For Waywatchers--not comparing them to other archers--44 is low, because Wood Elves have so many ways to raise missile damage. Not because it's like. Bad in comparison to other factions. End game wood elf archers should be comparable to artillery in terms of firepower.

Beast magic is actually one of the best magic in the game , for online matches . So much that they're updating it. Will cost 18 wings of magic now in online competitive play , aswell as elves will have an eagle instead of a manticore .

To snipe out lords you just need 3 WW's shooting at the same time bro, not the whole blob, also make sure they don't shoot after the lord dies because its a complete waste. Also don't want them shooting at their maximum range into fast moving targets like wolf riders. who are inside a forest, specially with fire at will active...

Just don't have fire at will ever with them and just micro manage them. So many times in the battle where he just wasted shots on routing, in woods or weak units. Hard to avoid that on normal speed though due to how much you need to babysit each unit. When you get it to work you can easily win a battle like this though.

Not quite, it's specifically what the Empire calls the lore of beasts. Same reason Gelt calls the lore of metal 'Gold Magic.' The Empire named each of their magical colleges after colours or in the case of the Light and Bright colleges, how much light was involved.

Sisters of Twilight gets +40% Ammo with skills and tech adds another +35% Ammo, resulting in a total of +75% Ammo for Waywatchers. So with Sisters of Twilight and tech upgrades, Waywatchers goes from 23 Ammo to 40.25 (40) Ammo. 40 ammo on every single Waywatcher should be more than enough to decimate any army.

Had a few smiles at your translation fails episode. Obviously the Vampirates have bloated corpses but who knew that some of the most valued warriors in the Glades of Athel Loren were actually Weight-Watchers? Plus i've never noticed a spanish accent on Wurzzag before. I've definately seen worse. In a popular YT WW2 documentary series Hitler's propaganda minister was apparently Joseph Gomez and Speer was his "Ice Minister". Aside from my puerile sense of humour thanks for the content. Ugh beast magic so bad it makes me restart a Karl Franz campaign on turn 2 if the rando wizard is beast magic lore. It used to be better summoning two extra manticores into the fight was pretty useful when they lasted as long as they had HP but after the summoned units rework... yeah beast magic became laughably bad in SP still cannot fathom why CA can't balance SP and MP separately. Maybe one day they will figure it out so they stop ruining more "fun" in SP purely for the MP crowds sake.

@@oscarmancio2350 I wouldn’t say Norsca is bad. Some of the most fun I’ve had in a campaign is the unification of Norsca at the start. Then it tends to go south from there in the quality sense, but I didn’t know you were meant to rush Breatonia and haven’t done one since I found that out.

I like variation in the campaigns and I severely dislike the LM, HE, DE, GS, Bret, and Skaven confederation mechanics (Norsca (because of the limitations), VC, and Empire are okay) . WE is a good way to avoid that.

The Amber wizard thing is because they all get griffons. As to why it's terrible in SP, it's because it doesn't have impactful enough spells- summoning a manticore to snipe low leadership units or artillery is good in Multiplayer, but almost worthless in SP cos you can just have a permanent unit in your army to do that.

Looking at the Ammo (22 Vs 23), The Reload time (9.9 vs 10) and the Range (190 vs 180) I'm vary confused what gives the impression Waywatchers burn through ammo any faster then sisters of Avolorn. Do wood elves just play slower and have more oppertunities to run dry, maybe? Or because of the more formation based play of the high elves, maybe the sisters have less good shots compared to the more Skirmish, free form style of the wood elves, so the sisters hold back more shots then the Waywatchers? I'm super curious if someone can explain this to me.

Nehekhara has a decent debuff, a vortex (Admittedly not good but still) and a strong physical resistance buff. Literally the only thing of any value that beast magic has is the amber spear. Even that is situational.
