I wouldn't even say Shukinko is outright "bad". He's just very specific and situational. You have to know every character and know what he steals and even then, not all the moves he steals are worth it. So yeah he's not great, but not awful, and the pre-requisites to learn him are why he's the least picked

The worst thing about Shujinko is he doesn't have any ambush attack. If he's giving some kind of ambush attack, i guarantee to you more people will try him out.

Nah I’m pretty sure they changed his brutal when they nerfed him for his season, the prerequisite for the brutality is now they have to be in the air for it to work

In case you’re wondering why it didn’t brutal for Raiden, is because you have to enhance the move now. I believe so at least.

I have another team for you that I rarely find tech for even when going out of my way trying to find it, I'm not the biggest fan of mk1 so I kinda dropped it after saying I was going to be on the grind when the next mk game came out but after trying to like it for a year I finally gave up and will probably try again later. But with that being said I'd have to say the tech that I found with geras/Jax is very unique and my greatest feat on this game. I have videos on my channel demonstrating but my game plan was to set up the ground pound while they're frozen and force them to move with a full hour glass and the ground pound combined. The games I played online were really fun and it seems like it can work in the right match up. So here's hope to see how far this knowledge can go

I’ve mained Shang Tsung + Shujinko since release and I haven’t met another player who uses this combo. I can tell it throws other players off. People are usually worried about shape shifting but because no one uses Shujinko, opponents are always trying to guess which move of theirs Shujinko has, too. If you hit them with an Apache Punch, it pretty much hit confirms his Kameo. I’m glad the devs keep updating him. Wish he could steal brutalities tho, considering most of the moves he steals work as brutalities for their respective characters.

You should try havik/jax its actually busted with like 60% unblockable setups with just like 1 bar and two kameo and just good meterless damage as well. Full combos from b224 and f13, and probably a bunch of other shit thats just op
