Sorry for the re-upload!!
And here it is (apologies for the wait) my first KZbin video!.. and it's about me leaving DRTV (I know, cliché much?).
I absolutely loved working for DRTV and especially with the DR Team (Kai, Lok, Rita, Ian & many many others that have gone unknown in the realms of DR)
This new journey is sure going to be hard as I figure out a means of making a living, but I'm passionate about creating content for KZbin so hopefully you guys will journey with me in this new season.

I'm interested in your pre-drtv-background. We know what Kai and Lok did immediately before drtv but not so much where you came from. Maybe it is something to include briefly in a future video, so we can start to feel like we can get to know you a little? Of course, the bulk of the content must be about something other than you (as you are not yet in the Casey Neistat category), but it will be good to know some more about you sprinkled in.

Just a shot in the dark, but I'm guessing it was more of a business related decision. DigitalRev's ultimate goal is to sell camera gear, however, even with the #1 KZbin channel about camera gear, they are nowhere in the running as a camera gear store. You can argue that they could have kept the channel as it was probably funding itself. But they probably believed that the type of content on KZbin conflicted in some way in how they want to be ultimately perceived in the industry. So they are completely changing the type of content they offer. More education, less entertainment.

Yes I would say they had a good shot to creatively use their videos, instead of blatantly saying to buy a camera. I recall kai and his reviews of the cameras were always neutral, so perhaps in that sense he wasn't really "selling it"

Sorta was wondering about why everyone is leaving and the lack of drtv uploads, but it's somewhat well known that big KZbin channels often don't that much revenue for companies vs a individual that does shit editing and that uses clip art :P wish best of luck to them and I hope they at least try to push out content more often
