WazPieMuffin having a look at some of the comments, I also use the Canon 100D. seems very reliable but I don't know what it's like compared to other cameras.

I haven't seen much(if not any) urban exploration photography in HK(assuming it's in HK) It's a really good idea for a youtube series. Maybe it could become the signature series of your channel. Good luck!

Wow this was brilliant. A whole different approach to photography and a personal showcase to your style of photography. I still had chills on the back of my neck even when I was watching this on a sunny morning on the tube to work! You are crazy af to go thru that morgue dept. And even climb to the top of that warehouse and go across the narrow passage. Cheers for the efforts and keep up the good work Warren.

I liked the "creepiness factor" to the location. I also really enjoyed how you worked with available light and were shooting film. I suspect a lot of otherwise abandoned warehouses get new life as sets for video productions. Keep the videos coming.

Haha, yeah there's a lot of Neistat style floating around on YT (including a lot of mine) but for sure in this episode I had to use something a little more eerie and dramatic to suit the mood/atmosphere - glad you picked up on that one!!

Reminds me a little of an old steel mill I was in a few years ago. I got some great pictures. I was only using a Nikon Coolpix 4300 hand held so a lot of the low light shots didn't come out that great.

There are some brilliant analogue channels on KZbin such as Ben Horne, Allan Brock and Steve O'Nions, but I can't think of one modern cutting edge 35mm channel...up to now maybe? 35mm film was the biggest selling camera accessory last year and although I love my Bronica ETRSi, and my next camera will probably be a RZ67, there's something about 35mm that's special. However that may be because I only have a Durst M305 enlarger. Great video and love the shots. Subbed on the last video, this one got the notification bell clicked on. I don't think I have half a dozen channels that I use the bell for.

Liked the lil transition wipe at 1:08 and the buildup to the piccie montage at the end at 8:54, really nicely done~ Do you pre-plan those movements, or do they just come to you in the edit?
@WazPieMuffin8 жыл бұрын
Hey Brian, most of the transitions in the beginning were thought out a little more, and then the montage at the end was thought up in editing stage :)

Very cool space, love exploring places like this! I'm using the Pentax-M 50 1.4 with my mirrorless and it's almost unusable if I open it more than f2. Is this just my lens or are they all like that?
@chrisloizeaux8 жыл бұрын
Magnus Dagbro, got the same lens that I shoot on both my Pentax mx & on my Sony a7R... it's my go to lens, wide open. It's crisp, with awesome bokeh at 1.4 & only has mild CA. Sounds like you have a lemon.
@WazPieMuffin8 жыл бұрын
I hear the 50 1.7 is the sharpest of the Pentax SMC-M 50mm range I kind of agree that the 1.4 is a tad soft wide open but nevertheless a great lens to have

Great video, this really should be series!! Very interesting! But I have to talk about something different - I am so glad to se You all together again in Kai video - old stuff of DRTv! Immortal stuff od DRTv! Get together and work together! Nobody of You is good enough alone, together You are superb combination! I can say the same as what was said about the end of Popular Photography magazine - without You, world of photography is one stop dimmer!
