It did actually shoot down a Zero in WW2, which is more than the Boomerang did!. That said, I do love flying the Boomerang and I've seen a Wirraway and a Boomerang at an Airshow at Temora, which was a RAAF base in WW2.

I think the perfect plane for you is the M.B. 175. It has forward facing 2 mg 151s and one mg 151 turret, so it will annihilate everything while having a bomber airspawn (despite the fact it can't carry bombs). Love the videos!

The Wirraway is a hilarious lil CAS plane in the higher BRs cause its nice and nimble. Would highly recommend the D4Y3-Ko to test your gunner shenanigans. 13.2mm in the back, couple light MGs in the front that randomly blow tails off, and a bomber spawn with decent climb rate. The potential is very high!

If youre in the mood for a goofy plane, try the Hudson, its 2.0 in the british premium tree, its a converted air liner with AP rockets and a ok bombload, plus a 26 second turn time ( very nimble for a big plane)

Yo- fly the BF109-K4. That things insane, as you probably know I take it into GRB and use the Baby Tigor to get kills, then die and get into the Kurfürst, i then run Anti-Cas in it. I average like 3 ground kills, and 5 air kills 🗿🍷

im still not 100% sure you are doing this, but make sure you are setting the prop pitch to 96-100%. i am saying this because when activating MEC, it is set to 50% automatically and can be the reason why you might experience performance loss when turning MEC on.
