You should play either of the french VB.10 planes they are SUPER PROPS at 4.0 and 4.7, and they get a LOT of guns

The prop jettison is for when you bail out, otherwise there's a chance of the prop shredding the pilot

Came to say this. The Do 335 had something similar, with explosive bolts to jettison the rear prop and fins, as well as canopy jettison and an ejection seat.

everything to know about the xp55 because im obsessed with it the program to develop a push prop fighter led to 3 companys' prototypes being tested Curtiss-Wright (designers of the P-36 & P-40) designed the XP-55 "Ascender" Vultee (only Vultees in WT are the V-11 & V-12 in chinese tree) designed the XP-54 "Swoose Goose" which had a twin boom tail making it look like the swedish J-21 and the nose section was extremely weird being able to tilt the guns (2x 37mms & 2x .50cals) up and down to aim the guns Northrop (made the P-61 and later the F-5 and F-18) designed the XP-56 "Black Bullet" had no tail like the 55 but had contra-rotate propeller and center mounted rudders on the top and bottom of the fuselage, the bottom of which being bigger 3 XP-55s built, #1 crashed during testing 1943, #2 survived, it's on display at the Michigan Air Zoo in Kalamazoo, Michigan, #3 crashed at an airshow 1945 2 XP-56s built, #1's landing gear collapsed while moving 200kph, #2 still exists but is not on display 2 XP-54s built, neither survive

If there's one thing I hate more than spawn campers in air battles (this is particularly bad in high tier) it's when someone comes in, chops your wing off and then, even though it's obvious you're fecked, they still come back and put more bullets in you. I can't explain why this annoys me so much but it does. Btw great vid WEBE. I actually have this premium
