I'm 61 years old. I began playing and writing after listening to Dylan in the 60's. John Fulbright writes better than any of them. He has more soul than any singer I've ever listened to and I dare say he can play any instrument he touches. This kind of talent makes me tremble...

A few years back over drinks I overspoke my part and insulted America in the presence of an American. Well, details and facts would have put it right, I think most folks know, but time is our most precious commodity and time is in short supply. A good song, a good singer and humanity will outlive us all until the last one of us has to turn out the lights. And nobody would want the janitor's job, if you get my drift. Peace to every man, woman and child.

Very beautiful but don't forget that letting us see into your eyes can help to show us the story as well.

It's hard for me to understand how someone who can write like this sings in a monotone. His lyrics are powerful but he sings them like they are not, and this in every song I have listened too. In typical pop fashion I hear folks covering this wonderful music TRYING TO SING IT THE SAME WAY. No passion. No dynamics, no phrasing that emphasizesthat the story in the songs. Imagine folks who love BobDylan covering his songs the way he sang them? Never happens becasue he is not a good singer by his own admission.

They compared him with Joni Mitchell , and Neil Young. Don't think so.
