Very interesting! I tend to run my bins on the drier side and all 5 species I have tend to do well though the worms tend to be smaller and I am more satisfied as I can sift them quicker and not have much wait on reducing moisture before sifting and castings are beautiful.

Thank so much for stopping by, and I agree with you on dryer bins (because the food creates enough moisture as it is).

They did a great job in 40 days!! Nice castings!! Those are some unusual fruits over there!! That rice and liquified salad looked so delicious!! Great video!!🪱🪱🪱

I have to get some more worms. 1 thing I have learned with ANC's is you have to get the castings out as quickly as possible. They do not fair as well as say Reds in their own castings for very long. Good seeing you again!

@@NorthernThaiGardenGuy That's good to know!! I should try ANC's, I certainly have the climate for it!

I think that 2nd clump of Rice had some plastic stuck on its bottom. Castings look great! 👍👍

I saw you in a David the Good live and stooped over. I am a vermicompost container gardener so when I saw this video..I had to pause the DTG replay and watch..

Cool! Thanks so much for checking things out. I am getting ready to start my bin videos back up again, but unfortunately I need to get a new batch of worms. One thing I have learned with ANCs is you need to get the castings out a lot faster than with other species.

Interesting. I gotta tell ya.... That background music reminds me of being stuck on hold with my bank. I tapped the thumbs up button to feed the algorithm monsters.

LOL! Yes, my short lived adventures of Vermiculture were fun ones. If I ever return to this series the hold music will as well. ;-)

Nah - they attack 'em from the bottom/back side and work their way in. Gotta remember, they are small. Not a concern - just more materials for them to chow down on.
