this is great nostalgia but especially for Bostonians along with all New Englanders on the whole.

Wow this brings back memories! Riverside Park is no longer in existence but it is now six flags. Sadly Boston five cents savings Bank is no longer in existence as it is now Citizens bank and the first national Bank of Boston which is now Bank of america. It's also sad to see that Woolworths is no longer in existence as well as Friendly's. There may be a couple of families left but it's not as prominent as it once was or when these commercials were filmed. Nice memories and also valles steakhouse is now gone. No steaks looked delicious in the commercial it made me hungry.☺️

I vividly remember the Boston Five Cents Savings Bank commercial, and, of course, Woolworth's, Herman's and Valle's are long gone, and Riverside Park is now Six Flags New England. Where did those simpler times go?

Hard to believe Riverside Park has been Six Flags New England for over 20 years now. The last Woolworth's I remember going in was on Main Street in Northampton MA. There are still a few Friendly's restaurants around, but the quality of the food has fallen way off, to say nothing of their ice cream. Before it became.a national brand, Friendly's was the best ice cream around.
