Jayson Jones only monthly special models will have different handle materials and pins than the production line. Special runs are usually available in the middle of the month. Keep an eye on my channel and website. They usually sell out in just a few hours of release though.

If I had the funds I would get this immediately ;) For stropping I really like some of the very cheap diamond paste you can get on ebay, comes in various micron grits and works very well for hard steels. If anyone wants to know which one to go for let me know as I have tried some that ended up being too 'sticky' to work well in a strop.

GurtTarctor AEB-L is different. It doesn’t sharpen like normal stainless steel it has K2 carbides. It sharpens like a soft carbon steel but hold a edge about 30% longer than carbon steel. A very different steel.
