So basically, nukes appear to be, in general, challenging to play against. Happy struggled to micro units when they are nearly one shot dead by Mk Pala. Kinda explains why other players have been struggling vs nova coil for years now.

Happy gets his expansion cancelled 4 times in a row and still super close to win and would probably be a winner if he did not make some mistakes like getting 2 heroes surrounded and not going frost armor. Meanwhile ppl in youtube comments: Humans are OP, beating Human as the Undead is impossible, blah-blah-blah

I think happy is avoiding the veto on hammerfall because it's a smaller tourny. It gives him time to get better on the map, and if he gets into a tourny with a bigger prize pool, then he may veto it if he's not confident enough. He's not gonna find these kinds of matches on the ladder, making the training on HF here pretty valuable for him.

Human vs NE and Orc is pretty balanced actually, against UD Humans have an advantage but as you can clearly see from these series Undead are absolutely capable of taking games from them and winning. Meanwhile UD vs NE is broken beyond repair to the point that wathing Happy or 120 going vs top Night Elves is a waste of time.

​@@ab-qj3wo humans have all mathups 50%+. While ud-ne is 47-vs-53 in favor ud (thx to happy) - you consider it "broken beyond repair", while human-vs-ud is 55-vs-45 you consider "undead (happy) are absolutely capable of taking games".

Even happy got expansion cancelled 4 times, still undead is so easy to play, with almost infinite mana. Dark ritual with ranger's minion is best synergy. Did you see how many knights were dead while only a few cryptfiend dies? And when with vanshes(3 tier), undead has all counter to any races. Kudos to Sok :)

@@Akram-101.0He would need to build a Temple, than the banshees, than the banshee magic upgrades while Human had a level and eco advantage. While he is doing that human would attack and he would have nothing. He already had statues and a slaughterhouse as part of his normal build order so building destros is just a small investment.

These lich openings became so one dimensional and boring, I feel like it gives human so much space to play rings around UD, selling tp, mindless push for exp even if it works HU late game still is way superior. I think DK first is still underrated with destro bust especially.

God you guys are such losers. Sok is an amazing player. Happy is a better player overall but Sok is still like consistently top 5 in the world. I guarantee you if you stop whining about everything your life will improve. And I went through that myself back in the day, I used to be a grandmaster sc2 player and for years zerg was ridiculously underpowered. But even despite the underpoweredness lots of zergs (like myself) got stuck in the mental trap of learned helplessness where you just blame everything on balance rather than trying to strategically analyze.

@@BinxyBrown there were 132 protoss, 141 zerg and 239 terrans in code S through all wol time. Only 3 toss won gf (2.272% succedd), terrans won 5 gf (2.092% succedd), zergs won 7 gf (4.965% succedd). Zergs have 2,5x more winrate than terran or protoss in the same competitive skillbracket. The only thing prottoss were able to do is all-in immortal push vs zerg. Same for terran - 2x 11rax or some pushes non stop or die to broodfestors. In 2013 (last year of wol, peak wol skill performance) there were 50% of all code S players are zergs: 8 in no16, 4 in ro8, 3 in ro4, 2/2 in gf. Literally zergs were losing to zergs mostly.

HEy guys, I'm new to this game. I have a question; why is this undead winning every fight, when he has 0-0 upgrades and less upgrades overall? Is this balance? Gee, I really must not understand the game, because this feels like the worst imbalance this game had for years. But hey, maybe UD is supposed to win those fights with mostly T1 units without upgrades against T3, double staff and severall upgrades...

I don't think hu vs ud is ridiculously human favored the way some commenters act, but humans def don't have the right to bitch about UD anymore. They're different races. UD has always felt ridiculous how just heroes and statues alone are ridiculously powerful. But yeah making a reductive argument of "t1 without upgrades vs t3" is vastly oversimplifying the complexity of the matchup
