What we need here is true Japanese izakaya restaurants. I love those type of places and we don't have any of them here in MN, I have to go out West or East Coast to get meals at those type of places. I know we don't have a lot of Japanese population here but I think that type of restaurant will be quite popular here in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

That guy on the right. You are wrong. Fifteen years ago, the restaurant scene in the Twin Cities was “not good”? Entirely wrong. When we had the Super Bowl here, we had so many people commenting on what a surprise our “foodie culture” was, how wonderful it was. It’s like you wanted to make a trendy remark, so you said that. I completely disagree. And Korean BBQ? Yes, please. Just Korean BBQ. Good BBQ. Cook at the table, different meat cut offerings. Many banchan. MMMMM
