I did the Middle Fork of the Salmon through OARS with my wife (no kids at that time) and in-laws and it was amazing! Hope you have/had a great time and enjoyed NO electronics (specifically cell phone)! Will do this same trip when my three boys get a bit older! Btw I love your podcast/show! Keep it going!

Hi thanks for the video. If I have 10000 in my rollover IRA ( which was transferred from my old 401k in August this year) - can I do Roth IRA without this pro rata rule for 2025 if I move all these rollover IRA into my 401k? And other question is - if I want to keep on doing backdoor Roth- I should not keep any money in my IRAs . Is that right?

It sounds like you're on the right track. The pro rata rule applies to traditional, rollover, SEP, and SIMPLE IRAs. Not Roth IRAs , 401ks, 457bs, etc. We have a complete step-by-step guide for Backdoor Roth IRAs here: www.whitecoatinvestor.com/backdoor-roth-ira-tutorial/
