WCPPL E1 Season Opener 2022 Highlight | DUOVENTURE

WCPPL kicked off E1 Season Opener at ASG Paintball Park in Perris, CA. This 3 day event was packed filled with paintball on all 3 fields, all the way from D5 - Premier Open. WCPPL is an amazing event with great staff, vendors, and competitive paintball. Can't wait to go back for the next event!

Great job filming and editing. The music is trash. Would also like to see more scenes showing a wider view of paintball. But for a short this is well done.

Appreciate it, everyone's got their own taste and idea of what music should be in paintball videos. It's either rap, EDM, or Rock. With music licensing websites, there isn't any good rock at all and EDM is over done and doesn't typically have any lyrics to help tell a story. Rap does and there's a better selection of it. What music would you like to see in videos? Also, what do you mean by a wider view of paintball? Do you mean visually a wider angle or a wider view, as in more aspects of paintball? @@duoventure I appreciate your concerns with lack of good music selection. As far as the music goes. My concern is not about the genre of music. I agree that taste is subjective. My dislike with the music used, is that the lyrics honor a trash lifestyle. Your skill and dedication to the craft of filming and editing. As well as your treatment of the subject matter of paintball itself. Seems to show a reverence for both. The lyrics do the opposite. Better to have no lyrics or nonsensical lyrics. As for what I meant by a wider view. I apologize for not doing a poor job on explaining what I meant. You captured many brutal moments. I'm guessing your intention was to do a short compilation of those many moments. In that you succeeded. I tend to like to see a bit more. I like to see what lead up to the moment. If it's a run by. Seeing the player 5-10 sec before the run by gives a greater sense of the bigger picture. For newer ballers. Those moments before hand are huge as learning lessons. You have really skill and talent. My comments are meant to challenge to continue to excel. And to open up your audience base should you chose appeal to a wider audience. Thank you for asking for clarifications. @@jackfrost2978 Gotcha, well let me know if you can find some better music with the same hype that doesn't cost me more than $300 and then we can have a chat about more diverse music. A lot of other people enjoy the music in it, so I think it's more about appealing to the masses and getting the highlight video out in a timely manner, especially one I wasn't paid $0.01 to make. In reference to creating a video that has a wider view on paintball, I think that defeats to purpose of a hype video. The goal with a hype video, especially one for an event I've never attended, is to get the most action shots & the biggest variety of teams/players in the video in hopes that they share the content and potentially book for future events. Adding 5-10 seconds to each clip in the video would put the video at over 15 minutes likely, which most people won't watch all of. I would definitely enjoy creating some longer form documentary-styled content, but it's got to come with finding the right clients who are looking for that and wiling to pay the right amount for my time. I appreciate all of your kind words and criticism, I'll keep it in mind as I make more videos. Always trying to put out content that's better than my last video. Thanks again!
