The key is a carry over from another of Teddy's stablemates, Norman the Lunatic. Since he was a Lunatic, Teddy was given the key to his room in the sanitarium/insane asylum, and would use it to control him (i.e. "I took you out of the asylum, and I can put you back there...playa!") The Dynamic Dudes theme song was the Beach Boys/Fat Boys rendition of "Wipeout". Not the Beastie Boys. It was a great novelty song in 1987, not unlike most of The Fat Boys catalog (See "The Twist", "Louie, Louie", and "Are You Ready For Freddy?"). However, I will concede that it lost some of its charm by being associated with the Dynamic Dudes. I'd like to note that the Turner Home Video edition of this show does not have any of the promos on it. Judging by what I see here, perhaps that is a good thing.

At least most of the death match alone nevermind the majority of that AEW ppv, was way better than the entirety of this bullshit ppv.

"Speaking of Flair, here's Sid with a helicopter", Gordon Solie sandbagging Luger, and The Steiners promo 😆😆😆😆 I love events in the unforgiving Philly. They honestly let you know how they feel about what they're witnessing in the ring.

5:40 that is 100% pure amazing Wrestling. A jacked up Terry Funk and Gary Hart standing next to him. I’m watching whatever match they’re going to be at, brotha.

Phenomenal review Brian. You were hilarious with the rather wregretful material WCW had on offer.

Ironically, Douglas made his career in Philly a few years later when he spiked the NWA title
