Great review Michael! I also like WD products. I purchased one years ago and it's solid as a rock. Still going strong. Very useful to have an external backup and free up your computer hard-drive as well. It's amazing how much the prices have dropped. Like you said, your 4TB cost less than the 1TB lol :)

Take great care of the usb port, if it gets damaged, your drive is dead. It doesn't have a sata hdd inside, it has custom electronic board with just a usb 3 connector. So if you have important data, think about this and either have more copies or get a laptop hdd and external case with usb 3, to have same setup. This way you can put the laptop drive in a computer in case of case failure.

USB C is very much faster (10x-20x) than USB 3 Gen 1 but comes with a significantly higher cost. If you are doing a lot of massive file transfers on a daily basis then the USB C makes more sense. Have you tried setting up a password?
@molometer Жыл бұрын
I mentioned in the video that I could have used a password but chose not to as the hard drive doesn't have anything stored on it other than videos and photos.

Hi, Tube, Good question and thanks for asking. Yes, you can use it with any PlayStation or Xbox games console. I use it to save my warzone videos. Check out my warzone playlist to see the quality. 👏😋👍

I see you are into GTA! Brilliant game. The video download default is 720p which is fine. You can also upscale in a video editor to 1080p with virtually no loss of image quality. 😋👍
