Yes she would have improved her game in back court more to rotate during rallies.. But she stayed the same way althrough out career, shouting move move and maar literally shouting to command Ashwini always Although still best womens doubles pair till date interms of medals...On her best day she is so good in front court otherwise just stands up front to have ponappa do all the work.. Am more sorry for ponappa although she got ubercup, Commonwealth gold, Asian and world Championships bronze in her career.. She literally wasted her attacking game without a good partner, and anguish thing is she paired another leftie Sikki reddy another nothing player who makes mistakes and also forces ponappa to do mistakes She would have had good success in mixed with Rankireddy if he was not injured and choose to do mens doubles alone.. She needs someone like attacking Tressa jolly or tanisha crasto who is good at net although lacks strength in smash can cover court well.... I was so excited to hear Tanisha and ponappa pair name emerge start of year, but BAI chose good for nothing player to fill tournament

@@getairways1 LOL You are praising Ponnapa but the reality is Ponnapa doesnot any any variations on her game. She just have good speed and good smashes. If Ashwini/Ponnapa won CWG gold and WC medal, most credit goes to jwala. Jwala was the one who use to take the most pts using her unique deceptions. Smashes of ponnapa are easily defendable. If you see even this match, most pts was earned by unique strokes and shots by Jwala. So better you learn some badminton than commenting. Also Ponnapa did partnered with other attacking player Pradnya gadre in 2013 but that combination did lasted. Indians players dont know good deceptions, which was fullfilled by Jwala in this combination.
