I've just rewatched the whole video again. Exactly one year ago, to the day, I saw Kevin's earlier F4F video and fell in love with the idea of using Frames/ACSS. This lead me to ditch Divi in a heartbeat (after 10 years) for Bricks that I knew nothing about (with ACSS+Frames). I'm not a Figma guy, so did not despair F4F did not come to be since, but Kevin has been upgrading my work week after week every Tuesday. Now, I can see this is going to be another huge leap for me. And it's only been a year. Thank you man.👍👍👍

This video, which I intend to rewatch as unfortunately, I was late, is perfect in helping me understand F4F. I want to thank both you, & Tomi for all your hard work.

Rewatched it this morning. I think its a very valueble stream! Maybe its good marketing to create a workflow 101 when using F4F, ACSS and Frames in the future. Love to see some figma tuts from Tomi too.

Great vid! Is there a vid for the UI/High fidelity? And implementation in Bricks?

Great sesh, thank you. Exactly what I needed to jump into F4F for the first time.

I've been playing with F4F since Nov 29 but after this video, I can see I was using it the wrong way! Now, I understand the ease of use and the power of F4F. Thanks Tomi and Kevin :-)

Wonderful session. It was great to see how much Frames for Figma has developed since ver 1.0. Dinking around with all of the Token Studio settings was a pain and I ended up not using the early versions. It was great to see how simple using the product is now and how it can really speed up iterative design. The copyrighting discussion was a golden nugget that will greatly help "up my game". I'm astounded at the value episodes like this provide. Thanks for this episode and I look forward to upcoming episodes in 2025 (whichever path you decide to follow).

Hi Kevin. Are automatic subtitles activated? Thank you.

Will there be a way to swap section type without first clicking on them? Would be nice to immediately see the new section on hover.

We are limited by how figma works.

Great valuable video as always. Do you have a recommendation for a good book to learn to do copywriting for websites?
@GearycoАй бұрын
It’s a lot of books. There’s no one place where you’ll learn it all. In January, I’m starting a whole series on it though in the inner circle.
@IstvanM10Ай бұрын
you said somewhere in the video that you will show how to write basic text with AI in Figma, do you have a link for that?
@GearycoАй бұрын
I will demo this in my copywriting trainings in the inner circle

How should we share this with a clients without revealing project assets?

Figma takes care of that

Do you need the (50$/month) Token Studio Pro plugin for this to work?
@Gearyco25 күн бұрын
Nope. The free version works.

I love Penpot! But do realize it doesn't have the backing of Figma. all businesses were at that measure at some point in their journey. It's more dev focused which means file are open source not .fig It's has actually CSS grid at this point in its career. It has Token Studio. ...It's lacking variables so I'm sure it'll be a couple of years before it's really being considered but it's good kit! I know Tomi would cuss out everyone in his hemisphere, justifiably, but the software is really good.

Just a little not that useful note that the title says "WDD Live 081", but there was already a 081 a couple of weeks ago...

Still don’t get it why Kevin Geary said only frames is needed for wireframing and Figma is just extra work and not needed. Now there is this paid product and I see a different statement. Can you tell us more about that @kevin why did you change perspective? For now it feel like that has a commercial reason and I don’t like that
@Gearyco22 күн бұрын
Did you watch my “why I left figma” video with all the reasons?
@mrkoetje22 күн бұрын
@ no I didn’t. Thanks. I’ll do that
@mrkoetje22 күн бұрын
@ I see. That was the one. My bad. Its about wireframing. And now you have a tool to do both in Figma right?

It's good to have access to the code, if we need to make changes for example... But we use WP so that we don't build everything in code... I hope Etch will not be another Livecanvas, which already mix visual layout with code, as I don't even use it... Too slow and painful dev... And don't forget Builderius coming, which will probably be closer to Bricks, but will allow us better class and selector management as well as code...
