Andy Haderer turned 57 last December, he's now only 1½ years short of Chet Baker's lifespan. If only we lived in a more appreciative world where someone who plays so much trumpet, and so beautifully at that, actually gets the recognition and *studio time* he and we the audience deserve. In my imagination Andy's _Everything Happens to Me_ paints a big smile on Frank and Chet's faces while they're listening on their cloud. But that's only wishful thinking.

I discovered Andy Haderer while exploring youtube looking for beautiful big bands. I got scotched by this magnificent big band and one of the most musical and magistral trumpet player I have ever heard. The perfection, the softness, the precision and the soul of his playing takes me tears of emotions. It demonstrates me that Jazz is the ultimate complex and beautiful musical achievement.

Andy with the band: Such a wonderful mix! Listen from 3.23. Andy Haderer;: We vant you to present your music in the formate of a solo album - but take your time. But in the meantime; What a great music with WDR Big band This is a great musical arrangement , an arrangement that gives Andy a free space to improvise the way he likes. Of course he has Chet and many others in his DNA, but Andy plays like Andy - and it's so beautiful. What at trill! He gives us the best of jazz on the trumpet - the sound in his horn og the tones he picks - say no more!!
