ive seen Vandenberg 3 times on the last tours. normally he only plays 3 or 4 whitesnake covers, and a bunch of new and old VDB songs. he said on his social media, he really enjoyed his USA tour doing all those covers (propably a butt load of nostalgia) so he wanted to do this again every now and then

Of course, we would have wished more Vandenberg songs from the 3 first albums, but ... there still is a gap in the Whitesnake story, since we missed Adrian's guitar so bad on the Slip of the tongue album. Now our maestro mends our broken hearts by performing some of the songs live, like nobody else can!

I like Whitesnake but their songs that sound so great on record so when performing live David sometimes sang falsely. But Adrian still plays and looks good and it's clear that the Whitesnake era has influenced him a lot.

I love it, but I think the excess of Whitesnake songs is unnecessary! Why? They should play more songs from their own discography and leave Jugdment Day and Sailing Ships alone on set. Other than that, the band is very good!

De band bestaat natuurlijk uit goede muzikanten, maar persoonlijk vindt ik de zanger teveel op een schelle Coverdale lijken. Die heeft volgens mij een warmere stem en glijd gemakkelijker van woord naar woord. Dit klinkt knauwend en is het niet voor mij. Ik had juist voor een zanger gekozen die verder van Coverdale vandaan lig qua stem, al was het alleen maar om je eigen band meer eigen te presenteren. Maar uiteraard mogen anderen daar anders over denken!

Sounds great considering the mix issues... mixers figured out the vocals quickly..Mats Levins voice very much like David's (intentionally) bass 🔊 needed to be turned up then it would have been a good balance 😀 🎵🎶🎤🎸🥁....👂? Bass🦻🦻??

Maybe a tribute to Bernie? It's a great song and should be heard....they play it well. Possibly too many Whitesnake tunes but it's a short festival set, I guess they've opted to play the well known hits Adrian played on. I thought it was very good. Mats Leven sounds more like Coverdale than Coverdale does😂
