WDVM-All We've Got Promos 1978

From WDVM Washington DC, a redo of promos originally introduced in 1977, the station changed logos and call letters in 1978 and the spots were remixed with the gold square 9. First ones are done with jingles, the last couple are sing alongs. Pretty good high energy spots for the time.

Every Klein& jingle I hear from different stations, the session singers emphasize specific words like for example, "the one and only tv, niiiiii-nah!" By that, you'll see what I mean at 0:38.

My then former CBS station WJXT Ch. 4 in my neck of the woods also used that same campaign during the late 70s 🎵We give it all we've got on the one and only TV-4! 🎵

The WDVM call sign has been revived by Hagerstown's independent station channel 25.

WDVM was WOIC-TV then WTOP-TV then WDVM-TV and now its currently WUSA-TV

Of all of the retro promos for television stations, the All We've Got/One and Only promos are actually my favorite. Strangely KYW's Direct Connection is actually one of the ones tht sticks with you.

And the latter ran on its competitor station, the Allbritton Communications (now Sinclair since 2014) owned-and-operated ABC affiliate WJLA-TV 7 throughout much of the 1970s and 80s.
