I remember how much it was so unique and fun! It fit right into the Epcot theming. The idea of shrinking people became a reality in cinematic form with this attraction.

Something not mentioned here, at the end when Wayne yells "Don't let him get near the cable!", the lights briefly go out to mask the transition back to the static slide of the curtain.

Wow! Congrats on getting Mr. Kleiser to sit down and talk about this innovative short, that ran so long at WDW. I loved "Honey, I Blew Up The Kid" (1992), and credit him for directing that spirited sequel to the 1989 Classic!

For me, the scariest part was at 11:26 when the giant female intern bends down on the tiny shrunken Nick and us tiny shrunken audiences saying "woooooo!" while being amazed at just how tiny Nick and us audiences all are. I felt really small when she bends closer to us looking massive and like a giant from our perspective and it really felt like I was shrunk. I mean look at how scared Nick was when she bent over him like a giant. Amazing.

I LOVE the opening song. It brings back so many memories. When I think of Epcot, I think of that tune 🙂 I’ll forever love this ride!!

Highly underrated attraction, better than T2-3D in that it's far more consistent in retaining the illusion of reality. Wish they'd bring it back for a limited run at least once in the near future.

Maybe Epcot could bring this back since they are making a series on Disney plus about the film. They could just clean up the theater and then just update the projectors.
