I always tell my doctor's beforehand. It's all about sight for me. If I don't look it's fine. But even if I start feeling the symptoms I immediately tell them, it can save them the trouble. It's not funny and shouldn't be laughed that I can't control it.

Qucik tip ladies and gentleman. I have the same problem. One way i was able to get over this, i don t know why, but you can stab me with needles i just hate it when they are in my veins. So, one day when i was getting blood drawn, one nurse dipped a napkin in alcohol and told to me to put it under my nose while getting the procedure done, that stingy smell keeps you aware and you reduce the probability to faint.Works for me, hope it works for you. Oh, and nost important, look away from that arm😂😂. Cheers.

The saddest part is that phlebotomists actually take it lightly and makes fun of something that is a known medical issue. It's actually due to a neural response in some people - rare but medically proven and hardly something to laugh about.
