Thank you for truly 'leaving mother and father,' and becoming one flesh. Coz that is what you were struggling with right there. God requires it because He is doing a new thing with you. He brings every new generation to a fresh threshold! I think you worked it out quite well because you were both willing to go the extra mile. I am not surprised therefore that you had Judah even before you could think about it because, you were working well within God's perimeters. Do you know that God could not give Abraham and Sarah a child because He was working Padan Aram out of their systems? Hence His asking them never to go back there nor to let their child Isaac go back there?!! And Padan Aram had other gods!! So for them it took all of 25 years for them to get where you are today. Thank God for Christ! Those journeys take a shorter time today. And you see Ishmael, who was had before that cleansing process was over, had to be a wild donkey of a child - a bond child. But you guys are second generation Christians so you are blessed because much was dealt with by your parents! You were brought up in the word at the key ages of 5-12, so the entry into the kingdom for you was bound to be plain- sailing Joshua and Caleb could only enter with those who had been below 20 before the first attempt at entry. Therefore it is crucial for children to be brought up in the word of God to make their entry I to life that much plain sailing. That is not to say that adults cannot. Abraham.may have made a long journey but he made it. So adults too must never give up! They have bigger things to deal with but our God is the biggest! Nothing is impossible to Him. Your life is a great testimony, thank God you are sharing it. Because you are the bread of other two couples who ground corn well in their lives. Keep it up!
